My dog was having separation anxiety even though she is crate trained she would cry when she was in her crate. This popsicle has her excited to not only go in her crate but she chills out and relaxes too.

My dog loves this thing. I freeze peanut butter in it and my dog loves licking it off. I find it’s just the perfect amount without feeling like i’m giving my dog too much of a certain treat. Good for small to medium dogs, a large dog will probably lick everything off in under 2 mins.

  3. Angela A Perez

Fits well in the bars of the crate, and keeps my dog occupied while we leave the house.

FIRST! I feel COMPELLED to say this… I do not wish to sound rude nor be judgmental to any of the reviewers who stated the opposite of my opinion when they wrote their review. However! I was curiously puzzled, though not concerned, when I read the reviews prior to purchasing this holder. More than a few people stated it was hard to clean. NOW I’m curious and puzzled as to what they are putting on it??? After using mine several times, every wash it easily came clean as new. So then I left it for a day without cleaning it, just to see if anything would become “super-bonded” to it if left to completely dry caked on with dog slobber and leftover PB Fit. Yeah, nope! It cleaned perfectly and without any hard scrubbing. I did NOT soak it, just ran hot water on it for maybe 20 seconds and then used a soft dish soap bristle brush for only two scrub passes. Truly, I’m scratching my head how anyone can say this is hard to clean?? Really, you gotta be kidding? And you would not/ do NOT need to use a dishwasher!!!!! I WAS NOT PAID nor was a asked to review this product! It most certainly does not deserve anything but >5 STARS! I highly recommend and plan to order more for my fur babies’ furry cousins. I LOVE this treat holder! Great quality product. It’s perfect to entertain our puppy so he is distracted for a few minutes when he has to go to his kennel. Buy one… you’ll love it!

Our puppy loves this. It has helped me get used to and enjoy crate time. Easy to clean and durable

This thing is awesome. Simple, but super helpful. My puppy has learned the when I say crate at bedtime that he gets his peanut butter. I also have been freezing it too and he loves it. He will run from upstairs to downstairs to his crate and wait for me to put this on his door. First couple of nights he would eat it then cry for 10-15 minutes, but after two weeks he hasn’t really bothered with that either. Huge change from the 2-3 hours of crying he would do beforehand to fall asleep at night. I also love that there is a cap so I can set it down on the counter or in freezer without a peanut butter mess

  7. Joy

Our puppy loves this and it has really helped with his crate anxiety. He used to bark and whine when we needed to go out for a couple hours because he hated being away from us. But with this and just a layer of peanut butter on both sides he goes right into his crate now and his anxiety has dramatically decreased to almost nonexistent. Now he will go in and lay in his crate at night at times instead of sleep on his bed and the foot of our bed. We are happy with it. It’s easy to put on the crate bars too.

I have a puppy that I use this for and she loves it. I put some peanut butter on here and freeze it and on hot days when I want to keep her comfortable in her crate, she walks in, licks her pad, and then goes to sleep right after. Great quality, very easy to assemble, and I would say it can hold the test of time with its durability.

  9. Sarah

We got this for crate training our pup and while she absolutely loved using this for peanut butter or ice pops, it didn’t last long at all. She isn’t much of a chewer but probably by the 5th use or so she had torn huge chunks of it loose so we had to toss it out before she choked on any of it.

Definitely disappointing for the price, but I’d buy another if they were made out of a more durable material because it made those early days a lot easier for all of us. Such a shame because it’s a really cool concept.

Good quality just not useable in med size crates

  11. Tukes

This is an extremely tough feeder, very thick and hard. I bought it because of all the great reviews I read. It fits nicely in between the bars of our crates and playpen and stays in place the whole time the pup is licking it. The biggest negative for me is the price. It does what it’s meant to do but I wouldn’t buy a second one just because of the price. I also find it awkward…it’s meant to have product (yogurt, peanut butter, etc) on both sides and then freeze it. If you put yogurt or anything of that consistency on both sides then put it in the freezer, the side facing down is going to slide off which makes it more difficult to get the cover off once it’s frozen. I suppose you could just use one side at a time but that makes for a very small licking area.

These are perfect for crate training, anxiety relief, and just as a treat that actually lasts more than two minutes. Yes, they aren’t cheap, but I’ve been putting my oldest one (of three, so obviously I like them) through the dishwasher on the regular for years and it’s still perfect. In fact, it’s outlived it’s original “owner” so obviously they are sturdy. I mix a little peanut butter and and apple sauce together to make it easier for them to get all of the goodie, but have done a variety of blends that include yogurt/banana purée/beef broth, depending on the need. And I always have some sitting in the freezer for those times when you need your dogs in their crates (ie when a strange person comes over) to quell any barking mayhem. Strange to the dogs, that is. One word of caution is that if using with an older or sick dog to get calories in their belly but who may take a long time to get them clean, use straight peanut butter or on with only a little smidge of the less dense food items or you’ll end up with a mess in the crates.

Again, they are pricey. But over the lifespan of of a dog they are unbeatable!
