It is so cute, perfect size and color, but NOT for my cat with claws, she gets them stuck in the mesh and unless I anchor it down by something heavy inside, it tips over and folds up. We still leave it up and open for her to briefly go in and out but it is not sturdy enough for long periods of time to keep her in it when we need her to be confined while we try to sleep, which is why we bought it. But it’s cute, wish it could work.

Setting up the playpen was very easy! it pops up instantly, and folding it down is just as simple. it does include a travel/carrying case and for me that is convenient to take on trips. It is very lightweight so anyone can handle carrying it around and setting it up. I opted for the Large size, and it provides ample space for my energetic dog to move around comfortably. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this playpen. The quality materials and construction make it durable enough to withstand the playful antics of my dog. I love that the bottom mat makes cleaning up easy.

We left our little puppy for a few hours and the playpen had totally collapsed on him. We were really sad and concerned because he had been trapped for a while and he couldn’t move. The corners aren’t even weighted. Unless you have a motionless pet don’t buy this!

This pop up playpen has been a great option for our newly adopted shelter dog to have a place to be sometimes. It’s great for during dinner or other times when I can’t watch her constantly but I’m still nearby. It allows her to be able move, stretch, lay down, chew toys and play ball at her convenience while I’m busy doing household chores or on the computer.
It is not a durable device, but if you’re dog understands “no” or “stop that”, then you should be good. Just tell the dog “no” if they start to scratch at the side mesh. My dog listened – it’s worth the try.
I don’t think our dog absolutely loves it, but she appreciates it. She is glad that she can be in the playpen instead of her crate – like I said – it increased our options as we are acclimating her to living inside the house, potty training, and teaching appropriate social behaviors.
Our dog is lab/amstaff and loves to chew and she’s 1 year old.
Perhaps the BEST THING about this device, is that when she is loose in the house, we leave the door to the playpen unzipped and we can play fetch indoors with her. She will chase the thrown ball into the playpen and reemerge shortly for another round. Great option for tiny house or apt living for sure. It has really helped when it’s rainy/muddy outside and we need to play inside instead.
Highly recommend this device or one like it. I don’t expect it to last forever. I just need it for now during her training and development. Worth every penny.
UPDATE: Still 5 star. But repeated use as a Fetching pen for living room fetch does wear out the bottom layer of fabric. So plan accordingly. I’ve discontinued the living room fetch with it to extend the life of the item. I might modify the base of the item to be more durable. The dog’s dives into the pen like home plate in baseball when retrieving the ball, and her claws are too much for the base layer.

I am moving in a couple of months, and the tent will be what my cat will be in at the new place while we set-up our room. Cats do not like change or moving and this is going to help them not panic and hide. It is comfortable and large enough for whatever makes them comfy. It is very nice looking and perfect. My two cats like them and dogs could care less.

Once you get the kennel out of the bag, not an easy task, the kennel sets up easily. The zipper top is wonderful as is the zippered door. I would recommend sizing up if this is to be used as anything other than a sleeping enclosure. If the carry bag was 1 inch longer, it would make all the difference! As it is, getting the kennel in & out of the bag is very frustrating! I always feel like it’s going to rip before I get it in or out. That’s the single improvement I can see that needs to be done but it REALLY needs to happen.

This is great for travel. I bought this smaller one for my blind/Deaf Chihuahua so I know he’s safe at night. I’m afraid he will fall off the bed again. I can put it next to or on my bed. I bought the small and it doesn’t take up a lot of room. My guy is 10lbs and he has room to lay down, turn around and be comfortable. Easy to fold up and put away. Couldn’t get it back in the carry bag it came with but I’m not going to use that anyway and I’m sure I’m not folding it right. Well made. The side are soft so no hurting his nose/eyes when he tests his boundaries. Probably going to buy a larger one because my sister got my bigger one. Great price and quick delivery. It could easily hold two of my larger Chis or three of my smaller ones (5-6lbs) comfortably overnight. I use this for sleep overnight.
Strawberry Wrong –
These are absolutely perfect for a cat or small dog. They fold flat completely, and pop open in seconds. Our cats love them. We put a towel inside and the cats go in and out readily to sleep. Having open mesh on the sides and top allows the cat to see all around him, but offers safety and security. They are not afraid to be put into them. We bought 4 of these soft ‘crates’ for transporting our cats in the car.
