Dog really enjoys it and great for training. Could be a bit thicker.

I actually have come to love the small WP “zisc!” I like that the material doesn’t wear on the dogs’ teeth and it is incredibly easy to throw. Just sails so nicely through the air. I prefer the small size also for more needed precision + less weight impact on the mouth for my Malinois. My advice, because Malinois are so intense and active, use the lightest weight and least abrasive toys. Too much intense trauma/impact can lead to tooth resorption and enamel wear if the product is also abrasive. Try to make them run for it and not catch anything head on. Avoid fractured teeth by not letting them chew on antlers, cow hooves, super hard bones, etc. Never use ceramic bowls for water or food as they can chip their teeth that way also.
**I came back to add, as some people have said their dogs have chewed this frisbee up, that it’s best to train them not to use frisbees as chew/tug toys. They should be used as a catch/retrieve/return/release toy, which my Malinois does well. However, she loves it so much that if my male Mal puppy tries to get it from her in attempt to play, tugging between the two has resulted in the destruction of one zisc so far. These aren’t indestructible, but they’re again not meant to be an aggressive tug/chew toy. (Plus, mind you, this was two large 60+ lb dogs against a small zisc!) I would always place safety on teeth/mouth when thrown (thrown as I recommended…never head on if you can help it) over a frisbee being an indestructible chew toy that would require more heft.

Not a great flyer, but it flies well enough and is practically indestructible. It’s the perfect backyard fetch and catch toy and can even stand in as a sturdy tug rope without compromising its shape. Finally, turn it over and you’ve got the perfect portable water bowl for those long, hot walks. Bravo, West Paws!

We are disc golf players and our dog is fixated on discs, far above balls. After seeing how quickly our dog would chew through the soft plastic, I went on the hunt for something that would last. We have a 6 month old German Shepard, a fairly aggressive chewer. After reading reviews* on a few discs, it seemed that the West Paw Zogoflex Zisc Dog Flying Disc would fit the bill. I’ve had the disk nearly a week now and it has been the best toy. It is a soft rubbery material that makes it easy for our dog to play with and is durable enough that she isn’t going to destroy it (at least for a goodly amount of time).
I would say that it is difficult to through long distances. Its floppy material takes a little getting used to and makes throwing it more than about 75 challenging. Now by floppy, it don’t mean boneless chicken floppy. The disc has a reasonable amount of rigidity to it, but it is not a stiff plastic like a regular frisbee. Put another way, I wouldn’t want to play disc golf with it, but is is perfect for a dog toy.
*Review – Bonus thought… When I look at Amazon reviews I change the sort from “Featured” (or “Most Relevant” – I honestly don’t remember the name of the default sort) to “Most Recent.” I hope that this gets past the seeded reviews and to the real people reviews.

I’ve finally found the perfect disc for my dog. It’s soft yet durable has good glow, is made with recycled dog toys AND makes for an excellent water bowl while out playing with your furry friend.
Amazon Customer –
Found it too small and to stiff. Dog plays with it but not like a Kong. Our puppy like the softer rubber.

Tive 1 durante 4 anos por isso são muito resistentes. Mal fiquei sem o primeiro comprei logo outro e se o perder ou estragar vou certamente comprar um substituto.

Fairly durable, Not as durable as the Kong. Flys a little bit like a sewer lid – Attribute to their design of a large edge to make it a water bowl. Kind of frustrating. Make a dog water bowl a dog water bowl and a frisbee a frisbee.

My dog is obsessed with frisbees and when not playing fetch with it likes to try to rip it apart. We have been through more frisbees then I care to count and this one is by far the most durable and easiest to throw and catch. It is soft enough that it won’t hurt him but yet durable enough that he can’t chew through it very easily. He has tried and after many many attempts he has been able to puncture it and create a hole but honestly it takes a lot of persistence on his part. I would only buy this one from now on

This is a great frisbee if you have a dog that loves to chew. I’ve used this daily for about 6 months with our border collie / lab mix who has made it her mission to try and chew through this toy and it’s held up great (no holes, chunks taken out, etc.)
I’ll also add that you can get some pretty good distance with the frisbee but if you are optimizing for a frisbee that can be thrown the greatest distance this won’t be your best choice. It’s meant to bend and will hold up to constant chewing so it wont fly as far hard plastic frisbee.

Our Aussiedoodle absolutely loves this frisbee, in fact we have 3 of them! Small so it’s easy to carry with us, soft so it doesn’t hurt her mouth & extremely durable. Highly recommend this frisbee
