Our dog used to devour a bowl of food in seconds drink a bowl of water and then throw it up, normally before she made it outside. This bowl has slowed her down so it takes more than 5 minutes and she keeps it down! I looked at many other bowls because I was concerned about the safety of the plastic. This is probably on of the safest types of plastics.

This bowl has worked perfectly and has slowed down my dogs eating/mess making significantly. The little rubber pieces on the bottom ensure it stays in place.

Works good but because there is no rubber feet , it slides all over the place. I end up holding it with my foot while dog eats. BUT it does slow puppy down .

Having a puppy that eats like a vacuum this is a great solution to slow her down. It’s better for her health and stimulation.

Do your dogs eat too fast ? Do they seem to be hungry an hour after they’re finished eating? Is there food all over the floor where they were eating? Are your bowls heavy and hard to manage? If you can answer yes to just one of these questions the slow control pet feeder bowl may be right for you. As you can see the big heavy black bowl in one of the photos was the bowls all of my dog used. They were bulky and the dogs were constantly digging in the bowl. They would eat so fast that they would be hungry an hour later. I switched to the slow feeder , my dogs stay full much longer the bowl is very lightweight and manageable. I absolutely love it and it is so cute with the dog bones .

Our puppy would inhaler his food and get the hiccups so I bought this bowl. He is now forced to eat a lot slower. Excellent product.

Lots of maze in the bowl. Sturdy. Just hope the plastic does not contain Pylates or bad chemicals. I couldn’t tell a lot from the description— this should be highlighted much better for my dogs safety & mine when handling. I do not heat the bowl. The little rubber feet are easily attached when u receive but they don’t stay attached very well. I would like it better if the bowl were round. It works

This is my 3rd try at a slow feed dog bowl, and this one is by far the best. It’s sturdy, deep, and really slows my Jack Russell’s eating. The red color is very cute.

It took our Cavalier a couple of days to figure out how to get all his kibble out, but it really does slow down his eating and provide some great mental work. Does not slip on a tile floor, and is relatively easy to hand-wash.

This bowl works great !!! It’s made well and really slows down my very hungry bulldog so she doesn’t choke when she eats anymore. Great product definitely recommend for anyone that has a dog that eats fast.

Gotta a fast eating dog? Then one of these bowls may help!
The good: Decent design, definitely slows fast eaters. Should have your pup working a little to enjoy their meal. The 2 cup design should be good for dogs up to 25 lbs max, gotta bigger dog? Go with the 4 cup size.
The bad: I don’t know what Amazon means when rating for “suction power”, this bowl isn’t designed at all to suction anything. Anti-slip design, they say it is but forget it, it doesn’t work on hard surfaces. It comes with rubber feet you have to push on. I wouldn’t trust those with any dog, they will come off and curiosity will have them eating them in no time, don’t use them for younger dogs / over curios dogs (put bowl on a mat). Also, Better designed bowls have an “arch” or cutout on the bottom sides of the bowl to aid in picking up the bowl when it’s on the floor. it’s not hard to pickup at all, but if you’ve had a bowl with this design before, you immediately notice. Again not a big deal, but this is a review right!!??
The what the heck: I see a lot of complaints “cheap plastic, my dog / puppy chewed the bowl”. If your dog is already a chewer, is teething, yes this is made of plastic and they will probably chew this too?
Overall it’s a good enough design at a price that lets you see if it helps slow your fast eaters, it gets the job done if on a budget.
