We live on a large property with no fences. We have coyotes and deer in the back field all the time. These have held both our huskies on leash without breaking. Because they are coated in a plastic, it’s much easier to untangle as well- as opposed to our old fabric ropes.
We use them for camping as well.

I’ve got a jack Russell just like the one pictured he has got razor teeth and can cut through leather or textile leads but not this one he has tried but failed.

The coated wire is broken in multiple places already. I Unwound the cord to hang where my dog runs and cut my hand in several places where the plastic or vinyl is not even covering the wire. See photos. It’s ridiculous to pay almost $45 for this and it be messed up as soon as I get it.

For a fixed lead for a dog toe this will work but that is the only use as it is very inflexible. I returned it.

Love how easy it was to put in ground , tool for taking it out will be a blessing in dry weather cause the one I had was hard to physically pull out of ground . Would recommend this dog tie out highly

I waited to review this tie out cable to see how it would hold up in sub freezing weather. It still looks as good as the day I put it out there. I clipped this to a cable that runs from my porch to a fence, so it can slide along it, and give my Great Pyrenees more room. She is only on it when she wants to go outside after dark. I was surprised at how thin it was when I opened it, but it’s been outside most of the winter now, and the coating has not cracked like the one from Walmart did, and it hasn’t gotten any kinks in it. I’d definitely recommend it.
