After 3 months I finally made the time to installed it, using the hub and phone app. Well I am happy to say that I have a peace of mind.
The door locks based on the time that I entered to lock and unlock in the mornings – my puppy knows she can’t go out in the night. I was worried if my puppy is outside will she be locked out but it works my puppy is able to get in the house safe (big relief)
I also get the notification on my phone when they come and go (1 puppy learned to use it in 1 minute, the other puppy took about 2 days (I just had to stand by and say “go” and she got the drill).
With winter and darker days I don’t have to run home to lock the doggie door anymore and my puppies are safe – yeahhhh.
I would like to have the notification to be a different sound (not a meow) I rather have a puppy sound alert.
The font the on the phone app to be black and bigger font ( right now it is gray and small font) that is all

Nachdem ein fremder Kater in unser Haus kam (Terassentür stand bisher immer auf) und es deswegen viel Streß gab, musste eine Lösung her.
Für den Einbau haben wir uns lieber einen Fachmann geholt – das Einrichten ist nicht so schwer.
Wenn man die Katzen dann erstmal “erfasst und zugeordnet” hat , muss man geduldig sein.
Es klackt jedes Mal laut, wenn der Chip die Klappe zum Öffnen aktiviert.
Das hat hier anfangs für viele Schreckensmomente und Verweigerung gesorgt.
Ich dachte schon, die gehen da nie durch – aber wir haben die Klappe dann tagelang hochgeklappt gelassen und Sie mit vielen Leckerli immer wieder durchgelockt. Irgendwann war das Klacken beim Durchgehen dann normal.
Dann kam erst die nächste Stufe – durchlocken bei geschlossener Klappe (ABER NOCH NICHT richtig zu / nur durch den Chip zu öffnen) . Als es dann verstanden wurde, dass man durch die Klappe gehen kann und sie aufschwingt, wenn man den Kopf durchsteckt … erst dann haben wir die Klappe auf die eigentliche Funktion gestellt : nur zu öffnen, wenn die eigene Katze davor steht.
Es hat einige Tage / Wochen gedauert — aber jetzt funktioniert es sehr gut und die Beiden können gehen und kommen, wie sie es mögen. Wir würden es immer wieder kaufen !

Facile à installer si vous êtes débrouillard en rénovation. Notre mur extérieur est de 10 pouces d’épaisseur, ce qui n’a pas facilité la tâche, mais quand même pas trop difficile à installer. Pour l’installation dans un mur extérieur, n’oubliez pas de prévoir les tunnels d’extensions (vendus séparément). Avec le Hub (vendu séparément), cet item est tout simplement génial. Mon téléphone m’indique si mon chat est entré ou sortie de la maison en tout temps.

My previous cat door was the same model but without the internet connect feature. Love this upgraded model. The smartphone app shows every time my cat goes in and out, plus keeps a historical record. I never knew my cat went in and out 12+ times per day! Smartphone app also gives you locking/unlocking control plus curfew control. Batteries seem to have a shorter life than the original version…approx 4 months vs 6.
To Manufacturer…add a wfi camera and this product would be perfect!

This pet door changed my life. I had a bad raccoon problem and would either have to lock the cat in for the night or leave the old cat door open but put away the food. I could never stay at my boyfriend’s house because I had to manage the animal situation.
Now…
No more raccoons in my kitchen: my cat no longer feels violated, I’m not feeding the wild kingdom, cleaning up after them, and worrying about them finding the guinea pigs in the bedroom.
My cat is thrilled! He can come and go when he pleases and own the neighborhood .
I can sleep! My cat no longer wakes me up at 5am to be let outside or because the raccoons have eaten all his food. I’m not wandering the neighborhood trying to find him and lock him up in the evening.
I can go away for a night and not worry! The app tells me that my cat made it inside safely and so far no tailgaters!
Thank you so much for inventing this amazing pet door!!! So worth every penny to buy and professionally install in my wall.

Articulo de calidad, funciona muy bien, el tunel de reducidas dimensiones respecto de otras compuertas, en caso de cualquier dificultad en la instalación el fabricante atiende muy amablemente y dando la solución al problema. La he instalado en una puerta barrera de bebes
Es algo cara para mi bolsillo pero estoy muy contento después de haber hecho antes otras compras erroneas. No tengo instalado el receptor de comunicación pues no lo necesito en este caso

Usei para impedir a gata da minha mãe de entrar no meu quarto e perturbar os meus gatos. Comprei outro chip e coloquei nas coleirinhas deles. Já acostumaram e me serviu muito bem! Recomendo!

It works, but just barely. The animals have to hover inside a few seconds, before it’ll open. You have to change the 4 C sized batteries every 4 months. It’s a good idea, works enough to get 3 stars, but overall poorly executed. If you have no problem with unwanted animals coming in the house, a regular doggie door is better.

When I first got the door it had connection issues from hub to door but they must be working on it via updates because now it works perfect. I have two dogs one is an expert going to the door but the other a little hesitant but they go in and out as the please. I lock it at night on schedule so they can’t get out during that time. I did have to buy them a collar because their tracking chips would not open the door consistently but that is not an issue because I have gps collars on them anyway.

Ni hay nada mejor que saber cuando entran o sales tus mascotas de casa. Además de poder programar por el teléfono desde cualquier parte del mundo está puerta. La facilidad de instalar en puertas de madera. En las paredes de concreto es más difícil por la construcción. Aún así tengo dos. Una en puerta que va hacia el garage y otra en pared de concreto hacia el patio. Mis gatos están muy felices de poder seguir siendo independientes. Otra cosa muy importante es que Sólo necesitan un hub para todas las puertas. Con u o solo tendrán notificaciones de muchas puertas

I have had the cat door for about 5 years. If the power is off or the hub disconnects the door is locked, it also has a twist button to manually lock the door. My dog barely fit through the cat door and is getting older so I thought I would purchase the larger dog door. First off their is no way to manually lock the door. The main issue is that the door is normally in the unlocked position, if the power goes off, or the batteries die if the hub disconnects then my cat could walk through the door, but it is locked from the outside, so if your pets are outside they will be locked out. this design is horrible. luckily the dog door is under a covered patio so I turned it around. that way it will be locked from the inside, so if your pets are outside when the power is out or the hub disconnects (which is does a lot) then they can’t get back in, and my cat cannot get out. Overall a horrible design, the only reason I kept it is I have the feeders, and was able to turn the dog door backwards. If your dog/cat fits through the cat door, get that one – it is designed properly!
