Description

  • NO HARSH CHEMICALS – Unlike traditional flea shampoos, Richard’s Organics gentle and safe Flea and Tick Shampoo uses 100% all-natural actives to kill fleas and ticks rather than harsh chemicals. Made with 5 pure essential oils, this dog shampoo smells great and soothes irritated skin while it works hard to rid your dog of fleas and ticks.
  • FAST ACTING – You will see fleas coming off your dog as you bathe with Richard’s Organics Flea and Tick Shampoo. Ticks let go and are more easily removed from the skin. For best results, work the lather thoroughly into the dog’s coat and down into the skin, moving back from the head. Allow lather to remain on the dog for a few minutes and then rinse. The essential oils are calming, and your dog will smell great.
  • SOOTHES SKIN: This dog flea shampoo naturally kills fleas and ticks while soothing skin. It does not contain parabens, dye, soap, harsh chemicals, or artificial fragrances or colors. It will not remove topical spot-on flea and tick treatments.
  • FORMULATED FOR DOGS – Natural Flea and Tick dog shampoo is specifically formulated for dogs 12 weeks and older. The pH balanced treatment is ideal for your dog’s sensitive skin. Due to the active oil ingredients, this shampoo is not safe for cats.
  • EFFECTIVE AND AFFORDABLE – SynergyLab’s Richard’s Organics pet wellness and healing products are created with premium ingredients and available at a price that pet parents can afford. We know your dogs and cats are more than just pets, because we are pet parents too.

Nice smell but very strong, especially the clove. Smells like mulled wine to me! Dog’snot scratching so must be working

  2. Rachie Bird

We’ve never used this to actually get rid of fleas, only prevent fleas. It’s a very strong herbal smell, mostly of clove but it does have other essential oils in it that make it smell nice . Does not seem to irritate the skin, (just a note: we have always used conditioner after we shampoo our pups so I’m not sure how it would do on its own if we did not condition)

We’ve used it all year (2023) .. we have a big yard and live in the suburbs of the Midwest . We’ve had flea infestations in prior years so we know they are around but this year we’ve had ZERO issues with prevention so far with this shampoo . They get bathed every 1-2 weeks , and they are Dobermans with a short coat . When we lather them we leave it on their coats to soak while we wash their legs and feet with peppermint Castile soap . We have not used any other form of flea/tick prevention this year (chemical or natural) Seems to work like a charm ! They’re very shiny . Highly recommend .

This stuff was fantastic! Smells wonderful and killed every single flea on my dog! Unfortunately it does not keep the fleas from coming back when your neighborhood has a lot of stray cats and lots of farm animals around. We live around the Amish and have corn fields in our back yard where tons of stray cats hang out and cows wander and they love to come visit our dog. My guess is that there are fleas living in the grass and fields around here and the feral cats and cows must have them too so every time our dog came back inside from laying in the yard on the line for a couple hours chillin in the grass, he would have a few more fleas on him again. I would pick them off and spray him with some clove bud essential oil spray that I mixed up and they would be gone again until I let the dog outside again for a while, he’d come back inside with a few more fleas. This did not last long, unfortunately our old man of a dog was eventually riddled with fleas again so we had to resort to buying Frontline which I am skeptical about because of the chemicals. But he is a 13 year old dog who already has cancer, what more harm could it really do? I think this shampoo was great but may not be very effective in repeling future flea infestations if you live somewhere where fleas run rampant in the outdoors such as farm country where there are tons of other outdoor animals hanging around. I’m not knocking this shampoo by any means. Every dog is different and products affect them differently. If you’re out in the suburbs with no farms or other outdoor critters around that could potentially pass fleas along to your pet, I believe this shampoo would work wonders for your companion!

  4. vanessa agosto

Smells like scented oils. I’ve used it before, the shampoo too. Works like a charm. Use exactly as directed and you’ll have the best results. Bye-bye fleas!

  5. Jacqui Davies

Again this product is absolutely fantastic. It has a lovely clean smell and does not irritate the skin on either of my dogs. Very pleased

  6. Veronika L.

Workers even better!! Love this for our 6 month old puppy. Leaves her feeling so soft and CLEAN! Will continue to buy this shampoo.

  7. Local Artist/Happy Customer

I mix this with about half of an oatmeal pet shampoo and plenty of water. Fleas HATE it! Dog doesn’t mind it and he’s not itchy after. I can used this at most 2x per month, more and it dries out his skin. Its not going to kill fleas in your house but its part of an overall treatment plan.

  8. Derek

Bought this as an alternative to flea pills and drops. Works very well . You still have to wash your dog alot because it doesn’t keep them off for long. It is really strong smelling so I use gloves

  9. natalie

Love the way this smells and its ability to clean my dogs. Have not had any issues with fleas or ticks since using the shampoo.

  10. J.J. Blade

This is a great smelling product that leaves my dog’s coat looking and feeling great.

I have been waiting until my shampoo and soap ran out so that I could start purchasing it for my personal use as well however, it has shot up from $8 to $13 all of a sudden.

I will find another product as that is too much for such a small bottle of product.
