This bottom pad is great. I was concerned that it might not fit well with my pen from another source, but it fits perfectly. The bathtub sides with simple hooks give a tight fit all around and adds stability to the pen. I wouldn’t want to use a pen without one. The material is durable and holds up to the sharp puppy toenails and teeth. I am so glad I found this bottom pad.

I bought the one with the floor wrap but never even used that part. I just put this down on the lawn and let them do their thing. HOwever, for the price, this works as needed and expected. The little door is a nice feature.

Purchased this topper for our puppy playpen which houses our two corgi puppies and it failed immediately and consistently. Both puppies were able to escape in multiple ways. All a dog has to do is jump up and push up and if they’re smart they can pull back enough to allow enough room to escape from the top of the playpen. I then zip tied the top in-between the two straps to help secure the topper and they still managed to rip through the mesh like wrapping paper. This product is useless for any dog that is even remotely athletic or smart. No matter how we configured the octagon playpen to try and make it more secure…the product proved more and more inadequate. Most likely built cheaply in China. Will not recommend or buy again

Love this product. Not incredibly sturdy if you are buying for a bigger dog, but a small dog or cat, this would be perfect. Waterproof bottom makes it very easy to wipe off if there is an accident and the top helps ease your mind!

This cover is a nice secure fit, but is light and easy to handle. I haven’t taken it on a trip yet, but I think it will be fine.

Be sure & use a clip on the gate latch. My 11 week old puppy was able to unlatch while I was in the shower & he got out. I used it indoors at the time temporarily. Thank God it wasn’t outside or my puppy would’ve been gone!!

Initially, I was reluctant to write this review, however i felt compelled to do so, as the pet play arrived in a timely manner, and was durable, easy to put together and while my was in the playpen, he appeared comfortable, and cozy.
An Artists with a purpose –
I am a French dog breeder and I love my Dog Playpen, it’s a 24 Inch 8 Panels Regular Octagon Metal Exercise Pet Playpen that I purchased here on AMAZON. It gives my pups a place to play while I clean up their puppy pads from their crate, and play with their Mama (they are weaned) while keeping them wrangled in a safe space.
What I don’t like about the playpen is the puppies can move it. The play pen comes with these plastic tubes that are suppose to help keep the panels from being moved out of shape, but they are more of a hazard because they fall off and puppies can chewy on them.
I was putting a large waterproof playpen mat down and while it helped protect my floors, the puppies scooted the pen right off the mat. The washable mats where fine but a hassle to wash and dry because of their size and they had to be air dried. Also the mat doesnt have a wipe off surface. So if they pooped or peed it would have to be washed straight away.
Problem solved with this Dog Playpen Bottom Pad!!
The quality is very good and It is made very well. The price is very reasonable and a lot more economical then the playpen mats. It has a Wipe off Oxford cloth on top with waterproof backing. Very Easy to install with clips. (I sprayed the clips with bitter Apple because I was worried about them chewing on them)
Not only does it protect my carpet for any urine, and poo, but it keeps the pups from moving the playpen! The octagon actually keeps its shape!
My only regret is I wished I bought this from the get go! A must have if you have a Dog Playpen 24 Inch 8 Panels Regular Octagon Metal Exercise Pet Playpen.

This has worked well at protecting our floors from puppy accidents and spills. The dimensions worked perfectly for the Amazon Basics dog play pen (pictured). The straps were pretty tight to pull up and attach to the pen but they stay in place beautifully and work well. Only downside is that it isn’t built to work with a door that goes all the way down to the floor. We’ve improvised but our dog likes to bite at the exposed piece and the door is difficult to open.
