I recently bought a house in another state. I’m taking trips back and forth to do a bunch of renovations before I move in. We’ve been taking our dog with us the last couple times so we don’t have to board him somewhere. At first we just brought his bowl and a jug of water, but that’s kind of a pain to deal with. I thought this would be a good solution.

The entire thing is made of flexible silicone which I like because silicone is usually easy to clean. The lid is not removable, you just open the spout at the top and squish the bottle to pull the water in. At first I thought this was a little annoying, but it doesn’t take long to do and this way I won’t lose the lid when I take it off to wash. When your dog needs some water, you just squeeze some water into attached bowl and let them have at it. My dog didn’t mind drinking out of it at all. When they’re done, you can just suction the leftovers back into the bottle so you don’t have to worry about dumping any out.

I think the best part about this is that it rolls up into a little ball when you’re not using it. It makes it incredibly easy to store. If you’re going to take a lot of road trips with an animal or even taking dogs for long walks or hikes this is a great tool to have to make sure they stay hydrated.

I’m very happy with this product. It is a clever design, does its job well, and I’m glad that I got it.

The one thing that I didn’t like about the product was the wrist strap. It is really only good for keeping the bottle folded up when not in use. It’s sort of awkward trying to carry the full bottle from the strap, especially with the reservoir open. I would have liked to have some way to clip or hook it to a belt or the outside of a pack. Maybe something I could fit my fingers through as well.

    I learned 3 things I thought I’d pass along:
    • When returning un-used water into the bottle, don’t tip the bottle back too fast or you might get wet.
    • The bottle doesn’t empty completely, so when you take it apart to dry it out or clean it, do so over the sink.
    • It weighs approximately 25oz when full.

There are several things that I really liked about this bottle:
    • The reservoir is attached, and I like not having to carry a separate bowl on a hike.
    • I really like being able to return any un-used water into the bottle, rather than just emptying it out.
    • It comes apart easily for cleaning, and goes back together just as easily.
    • It fits a standard car cup holder.
    • The seal really is watertight. I even did a drop a test. I dropped it onto my deck from about 6 feet up, and it did not pop open.
    • There’s no paint or weird wrapping material to chip off (or wash off in the dishwasher).
    • I think 19 fluid ounces is a good size for two medium sized dogs on a day hike. Some of the other bottles I looked at were much larger.
    • The reservoir size was perfect for my medium sized dogs.

I ordered this to keep for when we walk our dogs and also on the way out of state.

It’s compact and easy to use. It’s a really good size, I though it would be much smaller but thankfully it isn’t. It’s like a travel water bottle with a bowl.

I like it and def reccomend

Got this collapsible silicone water bottle for my dog and I have to say so far it’s a really good product. When not in use you can keep it completely collapsed which takes up minimal amount of space, when extended and filled with water the bottle is still very malleable so can be easily squeezed in wherever you want it to be. The bowl compartment is also made of silicone that when not in use is placed around the rest of the bottle to take up as little space as possible. When extended, the cap is directly facing the bowl for easier pouring but if your dog won’t drink it all the the cap will suck up the remaining water. I found this bottle to be easy to clean and store. Definitely would recommend it.

Works exactly as advertised. Fairly easy to compact and holds a good amount of water. I haven’t used it with the dog yet but I think it’ll work great. Looks dishwasher safe.

This actually works really well although it’s a little tricky to start with! I wasn’t prepared for just how ‘squidgy’ the actual main ‘bottle’ is. The whole thing collapses to be fairly small when it’s empty but this does mean the bottle is not at all rigid (although it stands up perfectly well). However, this aids with easily dispensing the water into the drinking cup and also with getting the unused water back in again afterwards. There’s a non-removable stopper which slides out to allow the ingress and egress of water with just a few gentle squeezes of the main bottle. After you get the hang of it it’s very easy to do and surprisingly effective at getting all the water back in again. I was impressed with how well this worked. The stopper itself is simply a friction fit to ensure it stays closed but it didn’t feel like it would easily come out and result in leaking water. Overall I think this is a quite a novel design; it works well and looks good. I can’t wait to try it out ‘in the field’ on one of the longer walks with the dog!

Where we live there are lots of water fountains for you to fill a bottle for yourself or your furry companion to drink from. I can carry this around in my bag or in the glove box and quickly pop and get my dogs a drink. The drinking pouch means that I don’t have to also carry a water bowl for them, making holidays and days out so much easier. The lanyard wrapping around it and serving as a device to keep it closed is a great addition. Also, you can press the button and let any remaining water back into the bottle – useful if you’re not near a source of fresh water.

If you look at the first picture you’ll see how it comes out of the package and it is also how to store it. I included a picture of the directions on the box as well. After I thoroughly washed the bottle, I filled it up with fresh water and gave it a try with one of my dogs. You screw off the bowl part from the bottle part to fill it up. Before you pour the water out you pull the plug up (I am pointing to it in one of the photos). Then you tip the bottle over and squeeze. The water dumps into the bowl for the dog to drink. The best part is when you can tip it back up and the leftover water goes back down in the bottle before you push the button down again. That is my favorite part! It makes sure that you don’t waste water for your pet while out on walks/hikes or runs. I did give it 4 out of 5 stars just because it wiggles around when you hold it. I get the purpose of that, so that it can be easily stored away; however it does make it a little challenging to hold while you fill it up. But the pros outweigh this one con. And having the strap to carry around your wrist or to hang from a belt/backpack is very handy. This would be an item I would purchase again if I needed another one, especially since my dogs and I go on 3-4 mile walks.

Firstly this is good looking piece of kit. I know that does not matter to your dog, but this looks so much better than any other doggy water bottle that I’ve seen and when it’s empty it collapses down and is easily stored, all wrapped up and held in place by its lanyard. Squeaky clean appearance in a neutral grey plus a handy lanyard, this looks fine.

To first use it you need to flip the drinking cup to drinking position then you can unscrew the top and fill the bottle. Then put the lid back on and pull then rotate the little bung in the cup section. Rotate the bung to control which direction the water exits the bottle. Sounds far more complicated than it is.

I tested this by filling the bottle and then squeezing to see if it leaked, it did not leak. Then I rotated the bung and squeezed and promptly squirted water all over the place, the bung doubled up as a free fountain. Less squeezing next time. The water fills the bowl through a couple of holes in the bung. If your dog decides they didn’t want a drink after all it I can be quite tricky getting the water to flow back into the bottle, a little practice or maybe wash your dog with the excess.

I’ve been looking for a new portable drinking bowl for my dog, as she is unable to use the old one due to having to be muzzled in public due to the XL bully ban. My dog was able to drink happily through her muzzle using this bottle. It takes a few attempts to get the hang of scooping out more water while your dog is refusing to remove their face from the scoop, but once you get the hang of it, it’s grand.

One wee tip: I found it a wee bit harder to get this bottle with it being soft plastic, but just put it in front of an open window for a few minutes, and its bone doctor is ready to put it away.

I’m not sure about the durability of this bottle, as the silicone is quite thin, but we will wait and see.

All in all, it’s a very handy bottle for going out and about with your dog, and it’s a very reasonable price.

We have seven dogs, five of which are large German Shepherds, and on car trips, hikes, or other away-from-home activities, finding ways to carry around water that they can easily drink can be a challenge. This silicon bottle is really an ingenious design! The entire thing is flexible and folds up with an elastic band that attaches to keep the bottle compact for storage when empty. When in use the bottle portion is filled with water. When needed, the bottle is squeezed, and the curved “tray” attached to the bottle fills with water. The tray is deep enough to allow a dog to easily and comfortably drink. More water is squeezed into the tray as needed.

This bottle is *not* huge, so I would say it would only hold enough water for one dog on a short-ish hike. Definitely will NOT accommodate multiple dogs’ water needs for a long day or hiking or playing. However, for moderate water needs, it is most definitely a handy tool and will waste far less water than trying to let a dog drink straight out of a human water bottle. Our dogs have tried it out, and they drank out of it without hesitation.

If you love to hike with your pup, this is a great tool to have handy.
