Product did not come sealed or cap on pump and lid was loosened so liquid escaped inside of packaging. To remove had to get product on hands and of course could not wash off the bitterness. Taste stayed on hands and went to eat something later and got quite a surprise. I am happy with what the product can do. Just not happy with packaging lost probably 1-2 ounces.

I sprayed a few things and thought ok it’s working and I sprayed my shoe laces and toes of shoes still wanted to chew on them so I soaked them and now he tries even more to chew on them

Had a puppy electrocuted by chewing an electric blanket cord while laying under the bed…he survived. Sprayed this product on every cord I could find, and rug corners. COVER your face with a hand towel while spraying! It’s a very fine mist and it is very bitter. Will get in your nose and mouth. Puppy hates it, won’t go anywhere near it. Just bought my second bottle. Good to have on hand. Highly recommended

Even though it had a leak most of the stuff was still in the bottle. After I sprayed it on my dogs paws where he keeps biting the mist or spray particles or whatever you call it floated around everywhere and I inhaled some and it left a disgusting bitter taste on my tongue for hours. In addition to this the dog just licked it all off. I don’t know if all dogs will be grossed out my my dog liked it so it’s possible it will have the opposite effect depending on the dog. Overall my experience wasn’t very good but I’m sure it might work for some people so I gave 2 stars instead of 1

It’s definitely bitter, will it prevent your dog from chewing his bed. Maybe, maybe not….

I was really hoping this would help with my German shepherd puppy who is getting more bold with chewing on things she’s not supposed to. I should’ve known it would not work when immediately after I sprayed it on the ottoman, she started licking it. It helped a little bit in some spots, but not everywhere. And it seems like it doesn’t last too long. For her, eucalyptus oil seems to be a better deterrent because the strong smell sends her running the other way.
I knew this doesn’t always work, so that’s not the reason for the star deduction. I took away 2 stars because oh lord – my husband and I cannot get this taste of this out of our mouths. It has a fine misting spray, which is good for not soaking things, but also means that the spray FILLS the air. The air that you’re breathing. I could hold my breath while spraying, and come back in the room 10 minutes later and my mouth will taste like this stuff just from breathing through my nose.
It bothers us a lot more than our puppy.

They aren’t kidding with how bitter this stuff is. IT. IS. BITTER. I ordered it because I have a 6 month old pup who loves to put everything in his mouth (and tries to eat as much of it as he can). He was eating the mulch outside the front door, and chomping mouthfuls of dirt from some planters on the porch. He thought it was a funny game every time I had to chase him (hilarious, I tell ya :/) but it wasn’t funny to us because he was getting some super gross, messy poops on the reg, and we were worried he would swallow a piece that was too big and we’d end up at the emergency vet. In addition to this madness, he also started clamping on to my other dog’s collar when they were playing and would be unknowingly choking her out (he’s already bigger than she is). So, I ordered a breakaway collar for her, and this bitter spray for the mouthy pup.
I sprayed a bunch of this stuff onto my dog’s new breakaway collar to try and deter MouthMan from holding onto it in the first place. I might have sprayed a little too much lol. You definitely don’t want to be downwind of this stuff. I got the tiniest bit of airborne spray in my mouth and I could taste it for at least an hour. It stays on your fingers too, so wash your hands really, really well because it’s hard to wash off.
I sprayed the collar, I sprayed the mulch, and I even sprayed the dirt in hopes that it would help keep him away from it, and it worked! He keeps checking back though, and he’s starting to find some mulch that’s maybe not so bad anymore, and the collar is starting to get mouthed again too, so it must be time for another round. It’s been at least two weeks since the initial spray though, and I’d say that’s a pretty long time for it to last– just not long enough for the puppy to learn his lesson. :/

This works pretty good but you may consider a haz mat suit for if you spray this a good amount you are gonna be breathing it in and you too will be tasting bitter
