This is my third, and hopefully my last treat pouch. The first one I lost on the second day because it had a crappy plastic clip and nothing else to secure it, so it just fell off somewhere. So I tried another one, which was advertised as having belt straps on the back, but instead came with a crappy plastic clip. Because this one also had a carabiner, I managed not to lose it, but the plastic clip would either come off the pocket I had attached it to, or it would come off the treat pouch itself. After a few months I eventually lost the plastic clip and it still worked with the carabiner, but dangling instead of attached. At that point, I’d had enough.
Finally, I found this product! It has a proper large metal clip that will not come off the pouch and stays attached to whatever you put it on. It also has adjustable straps that can be used like a belt around the waist, or like a bag strap across the body. AND it has belt straps on the back too, so there are three different ways to secure this pouch, and all of them work.
In addition, this is a well-made pouch with fabric that seems like it will be very durable and easy to clean. It has a poop bag dispenser, a mesh pocket, plus another pocket in addition to the main treat pouch, so you can use it to carry keys/phone on your walks. The magnets on the treat pouch actually work and will keep it closed, unlike that first pouch I got that was supposed to do that but left big gaps.
Now that I know Mighty Paw makes quality products, I will look for them again if I’m looking for more dog accessories.

I have a strong, growing, 60 lb puppy and an older 50 lb dog who loves to pull. I walk them together and it’s all I can do to keep them moving and me on my feet. My hands are full holding on to them and it’s crazy trying to also hold keys, phone, treats and poop bags. This bag is AMAZING! I attached a carabiner to one of the side rings for my keys, my phone goes in the front pocket & treats in the main pocket. It also comes with a roll of poop bags & a bag dispenser so I never have to tie a poop bag to a leash again. Best of all—the MAGNETIC CLOSURE–BRILLIANT!!! Opens easily and snaps closed, great for me with my hands full of dog when I need to grab a treat for distraction. I love this bag! It’s made our walks so much more pleasant!

Very happy with this bag – was recommended to buy a bag for walking the dogs to help with training our puppy. It seems good quality and stays opened and has sufficient space for phone and bag of treats and keys etc..

Shopping for the perfect treat bag has been a bit of a mission. I thought I had landed it with another one offered on Amazon but its magnetic closure was quite weak. Then I got this one, which really is much better – the closure works really well, and the bag is made of nice sturdy material. If you use wet treats a removable liner would be nice but we don’t, so this is as perfect as it gets!

Ich habe lange nach einem neuen, vernünftigen Leckerlibeutel gesucht. Man kann ihn an die Jacke klemmen, er hat oben an der Öffnung einen Magnetverschluss, die Größe ist gut und Kotbeutelbbeutel kann man auch unterbringen. Die Verarbeitung scheint auch gut.
Wenn er jetzt auch lange hält, bin ich super zufrieden, genau das, was ich gesucht habe.

Well made treat bag and I love the magnetic closure. Smaller than expected and only holds approximately 10 ozs of treats which is enough for a 1 hour training session for 16 wk old large breed puppy. The side pocket has poop bag holder but it’s a tight fit and not easy to get in and out. But overall this bag works for now.

There is nothing to dislike about this pouch. The magnetic closure allows for easy access to treats. The main compartment has enough space for treats (we place the treats in a separate ziploc), our cellphones, keys, and disinfecting wipes. The integrated poop bag dispenser is a nice touch and very handy. We noticed they included a roll of poop bags, too!

I love this training bag! It fits 2 cups of dry food and lots of treats. Easy to reach in while training. Love the little compartment for the poo bags. And has other little areas for keys too. The magnets are strong so it does clasp back together easily but it’s not an issue for me.

I was going back and forth over which pouch to buy and I’m glad I didn’t let any of the negative reviews steer me away from this one.
I’m no dog trainer but I wanted to give my sweet GSP puppy a strong connection to the commands I wanted to teach her.
I’m a 5’9 average build male and the bag was not too big or small. It’s sturdy enough to carry good amount of food, I usually carry about 1 cup of kibble which there is plenty of room for more if you wanted depending on your treat size.
I prefer the belt clip and it’s been solid. Even with about 1-2 cups of kibble, I can put my truck key and fob in the mesh, and still use the zipper pocket as a place to hold my phone. The spot for the poop bags is great also.
The magnet is strong and keeps kibble inside the bag great, no spilling or falling out. The magnet does it’s job but the pouch can also remain open when you want it to. There is no annoying reopening each and every time you want a treat. Based on other reviews I was worried about the loud shutting of the magnet; to me it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It’s as loud as makes sense for the product, nothing alarming or distracting.
The only thing I don’t enjoy is when I’m almost out of treats, it does take a little bit to fiddle around to find a treat but it’s no where near to give this pouch anything less than a 5 star rating.
My pup and I both really enjoy this bag.

Anyone who says the magnets are too strong are VERY likely to be using the shoulder strap. Of course if you try to pull it apart, it simply tilts on the straps instead of opening. If you use the clip the magnets are very easy to open.
Capacity is excellent. I feed my dog from this bag since he’s still in training. It is large enough to easily fit a full 2 cup meal in it.
I love the front pouch, it is a great size for me to store my clicker in it and the poop bag opening is a slick addition.

Holds lots of treats and closes to prevent spillage.
Fits nicely in my winter jacket pocket and it means that I don’t have a pocket full of dog cookie crumbs.
On nice days when I don’t want to wear a coat it’s nice to use the belt loop. It also holds poop bags which is convinient.

I bought this treat pouch to use at my puppy’s training class and at home training. I like the magnetic self-closure so when I bend over, the treats don’t fall out and my puppy can’t get to them. It’s built sturdy and there’s lots of room to store things other than treats like a poop-bag dispenser, and pockets for hand wipes, lip balm, keys, and more. I use 2 sandwich bags in the treat section to carry 2 kinds of treats and to keep the inside clean. I use the adjustable strap to wear it around my neck and shoulder. Very handy.
