Santa bought one for Christmas 2021 for the dogs. It gets played with every day. It stays indoors, we call it their “indoor toy”. I am only mentioning this, so that you can imagine it does not see rain, or mud, or snow… etc. Just drool. (ha). Anyways, this rope from Christmas 2021 is still in good condition, although, it’s a tad dirty looking despite it being put in the washer a few times. I decided to buy a second rope. I asked Santa to please send me the link to where he purchased this rope, and he obliged. Purchased a second rope and it also appears to be the same as the first rope… a welcome addition to boxer play time. All the strings are intact, they do not pull away from the rope itself ( I cannot say they “never” have, but I can certainly say that 98% of the strings are intact). I have not had to pull out pieces of rope from their bums after a poo, nor do I see pieces of rope in their poo.

My dog loves these. They never last but worth the price.

Pensa num tug forte!!!! Sem falar no preço que é excelente, demora um pouco pra entregar, mas vale a pena!!! Tenho um border e pra ele o brinquedo está num tamanho perfeito para brincar!

Our one year old German Shepherd loves this tug rope. In fact he likes it so much we use it as his reward in training. Well made & will last with a larger stronger dog! Will purchase again when needed!

Juguete súper resistente para jugar con tu perro. Buena longitud y grosor. Yo decide un nudo y la alargue aún más para no tener que encorvarme cuando mi bull la jala del otro extremo.

Bought this rope after learning that playing tug of war was actually a beneficial type of play exercise for our herding dog. He loves rope. Unfortunately, he also destroyed this one pretty quickly. The price point is fair but I did also find a similar version of these at Target (the Boots & Barkley size M – Dog Rope Toy) for only $3.99 ea – which, honestly, is a better deal if your dog is a chewer. If Target doesn’t have those in stock (I happened to nab the last 2 from my own last night), I would DEFINITELY repurchase this particular rope again!

Great durability at a great price!

Our puppy loves his new rope! It’s the perfect size and durable. The only thing is the threads at the end easily come out with aggressive chewers, but it’s just part of getting a rope with loose threads. We love it!

Very strong. Colors are vibrant. Knotted super tight. Same quality as a $20 one at the pet store! And definitely better quality then the dollar store ones.

I have a 145 pound Cane Corso. He loves playing tug-a-war and chewing on the rope which is good for his teeth. I like how the rope is made. Seems to be very sturdy. The rope is just shy of 1 and 1/8 inch in diameter. The rope is more like 24″ long not 25″ as stated. From knot to knot is about 18″ which gives you 3″ of tassel on each end. I will have to wait and see how long they last. I would have no problem buying these again for him and probably will when he ultimately destroys these. But for now we are both happy.

If you have a chewer dog like I have, don’t get this. If you have a puppy, it would be good for teething but if they like to rip things to shreds, keep it outside. My pit/lab mix had this tore apart in about 2 days….string everywhere. Luckily she is an outdoor dog so it was easy to clean up.
These are good to play tug-of-war with and she loves that. One other thing to be aware of….if your dog likes to shake their head while chewing (like they have prey in their mouth), this can hurt you and them if they swing their head with enough force and the end hits you or them…due to the length. Our dog likes to swing her head back and forth and more than once this chew toy hit her in the head. We have since quit buying these types of toys because she quit playing with them….we think because of her incident with this one.
There are shorter rope toys out there so you may want to explore those as an option.

Super resistente! Um ótimo brinquedo pra quem tem mais de um cachorro de porte médio ou grande.

My 30 lb mixed breed pup enjoys this rope and it has held up well so far to her vigorous chewing. That said, it is almost as thick as my wrist, coarse and on the stiff side, so it’s a little big for her right now. Definitely not for a small dog, and I think a very large dog could chew it up and unravel the strings moderately fast, and it would make a mess. But a good value for the price.
