This product came with several mats so you could chose the orientation you wanted. You could put the collar in but you don’t have to. I was very impressed with the quality of the frame also.

This frame is really well made. You can choose between several background, and also between two spacers for the glass. If you take the larger one, which is about 3/4 inch, you can put more stuff in the frame, like a paw print. I would suggest making a background for cats too, as there are ”neutral” backgrounds (2 for different sizes of collars and the one with the hook) and two for dogs.

I ordered this for myself the day before putting my sweet old man down. It arrived right after he died and assembling it and picking out a photo gave me something to do in my first quiet moments without him. As others mentioned, it is hard to fit a large collar but I cut the back strap some and fashioned it together with some paper clips (I won’t be removing the collar after all) and now it looks great. I ordered 4×6 photos from Walgreens to put in but it’s a tiny bit small for the opening so I almost wish I did a size up on the photo and just taped it to the cardboard. Overall, it’s exactly what I wanted and it’s a beautiful and unique way to have a little piece of my buddy with me where I go. Beautiful product and would make a wonderful gift for someone.

I bought this for my dad after his Great Dane passed away. Overall, this is a great memorial. It’s beautiful and the different mats give a good variety for the layout. It’s exactly as described in there listing and the finish is beautiful. Just one note, nothing to do with the quality of the frame at all, but the dog collar didn’t fit. The openings for the collar to pass through were plenty wide enough, however, as he was a very large dog, he also had a very sturdy collar. The buckle is just too big and the only way I’m going to be able to get it to work is by cutting it. So I’m leaving that up to dad to decide. Which shouldn’t be an issue either way because of the different mats. Highly recommended otherwise!

I have purchased three of these frames, one for each of our beloved dogs that have passed away. I like the fact that you can include a picture of your dog along with their collar. The frames were easy to assemble. They look amazing in person and I will treasure them forever.

This frame is perfect. I recently lost my boy and this is exactly what I wanted and needed to memorialize him. It comes in a nice, secure box and has several insert options. The end result has made my broken heart so happy. When the time comes for my other two dogs, I will for sure be purchasing more of these frames for them.

I bought this to commemorate our dog that we just had to put down and it is a nice product for the price. The frame itself is nicely made. There were multiple inserts to choose from and I like that there were 2 collar size options but they didn’t actually work with a bigger collar because it made it too bulky to actually put in the frame. I ended up just using the heart hook and hung his tags on it with his picture. There were some pegs with tacks on them that I still cannot figure out what they were for because there are no instructions. Aside from some of those odd things about it, it looks really nice and I made it work. I have this displayed with the clay paw print the vet gave us. I do also like that the frame is wide enough to sit on it’s own on the shelf so I didn’t have to hang it.
I gave it 4 stars because the 2 collar inserts didn’t work for me but would for a smaller dog and the lack of instructions for using the heart tag hanger.
