Keeps my dog engaged and entertained! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t a bit easy for her to grab the plastic part to chew on. Would be nice to have a larger sized option so she couldn’t get her mouth around it even with the rope end spinning😆. She is a medium size so must be an issue for larger dogs too.

This toy falls short in the ‘interactive dog toy’ category and with good reason. It does not hold dog’s attention and the dog does not really know what to do with it.
Those who created toy clearly know nothing about dogs or didn’t have them in mind when making the toy. I recommend making toy with softer, safe, dog friendly material.
This entire review is my opinion and others may disagree, but what is a FACT is that the toy is not made with materials safe for dogs. BEWARE and if you end up buying toy, ensure you monitor your dog closely, especially ensuring they don’t damage teeth with hard moving parts.
One positive: unlike other interactive dog moving toys on Amazon, this one does not require you to download an application from China, that requires you to release all permissions on your phone to the app. This toy does not have an app and it is chargeable via USB cable. This was a great positive.
My advice to dog parents: buy toys that are safe for dogs. Not only outer materials, but ensuring they are not treated with toxic chemicals.

My dog is terrified of it, but shes terrified of everything and only likes my wife. That being said, build wise and price point are solid. It’s a toy that just kinda slaps around by itself and I think for small to medium dogs it’s a pretty good toy

My Samoyed loves this toy and keeps him entertained 😊

The guide that comes with the toy is really poorly written. There is a LOT more information on the product page on Amazon, so if you are not getting this for yourself – give a link to the page with the toy. If you are buying it for your dog, read the page thoroughly – not easily done because it was clearly written by a non-English speaker and not proof read…
My two Havanese are terrified of this (it’s still new to them). One of them “escapes” through the dog door when I get the toy out and it starts up on the floor. The toy will spin around and bark – yes, “Arf, arf” bark for a bit then be quiet … then all of a sudden the light will come on and it will start up again, spinning. Because of the shape, it’s a little unpredictable which way it will spin. When the braver of the two pups nudges it with her nose, the toy comes alive again (sneaky toy) and barks and takes off spinning. From a dog’s POV I suppose it is unpredictable and you either dominate it or stay away from it. From a human’s POV it’s hilarious.

The dog loves it. I only wish the battery lasted a little longer. It lasts about two hours. The dog does not seem to respond well to the prompts. If there was more of an interactive prompt maybe he would respond better. I also noticed that the rope takes a beating. He, the dog, chewed the rope almost in half the first day. The dog is a 35 lb. poodle/shit shu mix so not much of a bite-chew drive. We have taken it away to give it a break. The part of the toy where the rope attaches has little to no damage so it is not a bite-chew drive issue it is the rope.

Our German shepherd puppy loves this toy and it keeps her attention for a very long time, giving us some peaceful time to ourselves – thank goodness. Of course the rope was gone in less than a week, but she continues to play with it. She absolutely loves it (and so do we).

When we first got the toy, it took some muscle to unscrew the plastic top but fortunately I was able to. I put it in interactive mode and my dog LOVED it. The next day when I tried to unscrew it again, it just wouldn’t open. My poor doggy was waiting patiently for me to give it to him, but just couldn’t open it. I understand that there’s a reason it’s designed not to open during playtime, but, geezer, it just won’t unscrew. I don’t know if there’s a trick to open it, but I think the sellers should add more information on how to unscrew it.
