This dog came shrink-wrapped, it came in a small box. Once the outer plastic was removed, it puffed up in no time. It is really very cute, soft and a good size. There is a little gadget that when you put the batteries in and press the button it gives you different variations of a heartbeat and you put the Scatchet in the Velcro enclosure on the underbelly of the plush toy. It’s very soothing for a puppy and for a child. To stop that little circular catch it from providing the pulsing heartbeat, you would have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds to shut it. I happily give this five stars!

I think the concept of this is great! My dog a pomchi barks at it and gets wild when I turn the heart beat on.

My dog hates the heart beat and won’t lay next to it as described in the ad.
She wants to tear it apart in order to get to the vibration out of it.
She likes the dog though, as long as the heart beat vibration is off.
Unfortunately, this product is so expensive because of the cheap plastic heart beat feature.
I could have gotten the same type of stuffed animal, for a dollar, in a stuffed toy clay crane machine!

Our kid just loves to have this heartbeat puppy at bed time. Description of product is spot on. Well protected for shipping and fast shipping. Heartbeat Puppy is easy to clean if need to be with a damp warm cloth. Even running the heartbeat puppy for extended time the battery does NOT drain fast. We do suggest using a STRONG alkaline battery. Changing the batteries is simple and easy. Great product. We recommend this purchase.
