Called Extreme Dog as I was trying to find a store that sold the batteries for the collars and someone actually answered the phone right away!!! It’s so nice to have a company that has people actually staffed to answer phones!! Spoke with Crystal who was very helpful!! She explained that we have to buy the batteries recommended either through them or on Amazon – was able to figure out how to get them in the next day or two!! Kinda of a bummer that we can’t get the batteries in a local store but I understood it when she explained it! I just have to make sure to have a couple batteries on hand

System works great. Original battery for the collar died so I purchased another. That 1st battery replacement last 6 months or so.
So I ordered a 2nd battery and installed it. This 2nd battery died on me in less than a month’s time. I read that some of these batteries were finicky but man this was the one recommended by the manufacturer of the system. I could see if I’d gotten an off brand to replace it. Debating if I should give Extreme Dog Collar battery another try or not. Disappointing to say the least with this last battery.

It works great. I’ve had above ground electric fences and they short out and you hit it with the weed eater. This works great!

Have this for our dog fence collar. It works well but the life isn’t too long. I am not sure the normal life of a dog fence collar battery but we have had to switch them about every 6 months or so.

Battery life is good considering its working 24/7. Price is fair. But, Extreme Dog Fence, is AMAZING! It has made my life so much easier and my 3+ Y.O. Dogs learned the limits quickly. It is an awesome system and the one time I called to ask a collar question that was not clear from the manual, they answered the phone and my question on the spot! Excellent customer service!
