My dog is around 10 pounds and small. The house is small but ok for her, she actually loves it. Is kind of “flimsy”, if you have a playful little one you might what to consider something more sturdy. If you got a little sleeper who loves to be cozy and in small places, this is the one for your pup.

Firstly it’s too flimsy, not stable and strong. Topples over easily, and too small to be called a Large size. It’s not big enough for a medium size puppy, ie 18 month old cavoodle. I don’t know what yo do with it now. My puppy thinks it’s his toy as it toppled over very easily and not very firm and stable. Can I return this and get a refund pls

Hey all, I just wanted to give an honest full review because after reading all the other reviews I was sort of skeptical as to what I would get when it arrived. But this little house (I bought the large) is exactly what I was looking for and would highly recommend for anyone with a small low energy dog.
To start off, my dog is about 11 lbs and 10 years old. Calm dog – not one to climb all over the house like it’s a toy, or chew on it. Likes to nap under the bed and tucked away behind the couch and whatnot during the day. So I was really looking to create a safe space for him that could be his new hideaway.
The house arrived basically vacuum packed. Had that cancer manufacture smell when I opened it so I gave it a quick wash and dry. Smell totally disappeared, and it still looked and felt good as new when I took it out of the dryer. The structure was surprisingly fairly firm still. Also the plush on the pillow and roof is very soft.
The walls and floor are all one piece, so I placed that on the floor first. Instead of placing the provided pillow on the bottom I instead switched it out with my puppers favorite doggy bed. This gave it a familiar smell AND helped quite a bit for giving the structure some extra support. I then zippered the roof onto the house with zero issues (the zipper was in great condition, just be gentle). Lastly, not that it really needed it, but I tucked the pillow vertically up against the back wall behind his bed for some extra structure support. It honestly took me about two minutes to put the house together if that.
I brought my dog over to the little house and he couldn’t wait to get in! Immediately nestled himself right into his bed and now it’s his new favorite space. So happy with this purchase.
I think any dog over 13ish lbs would be too big for the large size, but it’s a great size for my 10 lb dog. Also it wouldnt hold up against any dog that would climb on it. But if you have a smaller low energy dog like mine this is a great quality hideaway for an affordable price.

This house looks great, is so cozy and soft and my Shih Tzu loves it. However (see my video) it had no structure and flopped in on itself until I cut some cardboard inserts and reinforced the walls with it. I might add a longer video on Y-Tube, Love Shih Tzu – Yoshi & Kiku & plush dog house. But this short video clip pretty much shows what I did and what the problem was…. If you have any questions find us and ask, I’ll walk you through it because for 59$ it is very worth it. It looks so cute in the house and is so cozy for the dogs

This product is not at all, even a little sturdy. My 13 lb. Shih Tzu sees it as toy. It collapses so easy. This is of no use to us because it is so cheaply made. Even just a wire frame might help. I’m sorry that I even purchased this little pet bed. Waste of money. I ordered a large. The size is OK, but that is the only positive comment I have.
