My yorkie absolutely loves this frisbee. We play in the backyard with it every day. It’s awesome I found a 3 pack of them on Amazon!

We only played with them once and there are holes in one of them. I don’t see them lasting too long. 🙁

These are easily thrown and good training but they are not at all durable and if she gets it out of my sight she loves to destroy it! They are a good price and she loves playing with it so I have bought 5 knowing it won’t last long! I recommend a small rubber frisbee if you are looking for durability

Our 3 year old Labradoodle absolutely loves playing fetch with these frisbees. She plays several times during the day, almost every day. She is very sad when the weather is bad and she can’t play fetch. We have tried several different brands and types of frisbee but this is her absolute favorite — which is all that matters, right? That said, with as much as she loves them and plays with them, they are not a long lasting toy, which is why we bought the 3 pack. If your dog loves retrieving frisbees, and you play fetch with your pet as much as we do (we are both retired so have plenty of time available), these are probably the ones that you want.

My dog LOVES this frisbee… I actually found a new one at a thrift store for .99 cents… Cannot imagine why someone would give this frisbee away! Hands down, best ever dog frisbee! I’d love it if they made a version that glows or lights with LED lights around the rim… Thing is, my dog is a frisbee dog, she’s border collie/blue healer, and I tell you what- she turns into a graceful flying acrobatic ballerina who leaps high in the air with twists and flips… And catching that thing in mid-air seems to be her crowning achievement! She loves it, and will literally fall over before she quits wanting to play… I have to force her to stop and go drink water! And why this frisbee? Well, I can tell you that me and Chloe Fraskal have tried just about every frisbee possible… Hard plastic frisbees never last longer than a couple of minutes and I’ve had other cloth ones that tear right away… She’s hard in her toys because she likes to shake it and shred it once it’s captured… She can eat a pork skin chew in less than 5 minutes, so to say that each one of these frisbees lasts us over a month is A+mazing!!! Needless to say, after she finally ripped up the thrift store one, I was bereft. I couldn’t find this kind of frisbee anywhere… Then I thought of Amazon. Thanks to the booda frisbee people and Amazon -Chloe Fraskal

I like to play frisbee with my boys. My shelties all liked Frisbee. I had six of the Shelties. these 2 dogs like to play but when young they chewed these apart so fast. I love them because they are lightweight. I just bought more now that they are 7 months. They have settled down a bit. But they do enjoy it.

I have bought about 25 of these over the years for my small dogs. Yes, that many. They are one of the few small flying discs that actually fly reasonably well – 30 or more yards if you are skilled at throwing discs, instead of 20 ft like crummy discs made by other manufacturers.
A couple of years ago, they became much less durable. The material became thinner and easily punctured and they started lasting a couple of weeks instead of a few months before they were too tattered to fly well. But it did not matter to me since they were my smallest (12lb) dog’s favorite disc and the only one she would chase and catch so I would buy the three-packs on a regular basis since she loved them so much.
This latest batch will be my last, though. The latest change Petmade made was replacing the soft inner tube with a hard plastic one so the disc is no longer easy on the teeth and mouth. She put it in her mouth once and will no longer chase or catch them. I am really disappointed that she no longer has this additional form of exercise to keep her in shape. And am disappointed in Petmate for still advertising “Soft and gentle on your pet’s teeth and gums,” and Amazon for allowing it.
BTW, the Tall Tails dog disc is made like the Boodas used to be with a soft rim and durable material and comes in small and large sizes. However, they don’t fly as well and always list to the side a great deal (instead of a little bit like Boodas) during flight.
Update: Tail Tails has now released a new series of dog discs called GOAT Sport Flyers (in 7″ and 9″ sizes) and discontinued the old version. The GOAT flies straight, has a soft rim, and is durable! So if you miss the original Tail-Spin Flyer, there is finally a substitute.
