Edited 10-7-22. I purchased these in July. They have a 90 day return policy. Just after the 90 days, one of the two I purchased started jamming up. Three times now, I’ve noticed it didn’t dispense. How many times did I not notice?! I’m waiting on an Amazon response now for how to contact the manufacturer.

These work well for my dogs however, they need two major improvements. First, the bin isn’t clear. Since obviously I’m feeding animals with it, I’ve got the dispensers sitting down on the floor and they are covered with a black lid. It is impossible to see in at a glance as I’m walking by. In order to see what’s left in the bin I have to get down on my hands and knees to try to see through the smoky grey sides, or I have to take the lid off. I’m afraid they will run out one day because I can’t see into the bin. Second, all the controls are at the very bottom, right above the bowl. In order to change anything with the settings, or to dispense an extra portion, I have to get down on my hands and knees to read the display. This display should be on the top facing up! Other than that, they work well.

These feeders work quite well with one exception: we specifically wanted two separate feeders so our two cats can eat independently, since we have a bully who eats all the other cats food. They problem is one of the feeders clock is slow, so they never actually go off at the same time. Incredibly frustrating and product isn’t eligible for a replacement. Should have spent more on a better feeder.

Easily set up, 4 different set ups for the feeding amount and times to be fed which was perfect! It has an audio recording for you to set up with your own message…I just called my kitty and said “supper time…come and get it!” And it says it 3 times! Kitty and I love it!

I use this every day for my cat and she has no issues with it. Works very well, directions were clear. You can change how much food comes out at a time and you have the option to feed them 4 times a day! No complaints. Even has a battery backup option in case your power goes out, you don’t have to worry about your pet missing meals.

Our dog’s name is Dahei, he is a 1.5 years old GSD.

We work a 9-5 job and sometimes we had to rush home to feed this big boy. This meal feeder has saved us at least 2 trips per week when we are just too busy.

Function: can set 4 meals by different portions. Because we only need to feed one time when we aren’t home, we set a 2 minitue interval of max portions. So the tray gets filled. Our dog can easily finish that portion.

It allows a recording before feeding the trap, we just simply make a loud noise of “Dahei, come eat.”

    Tips:
-train your dog to eat from this machine first otherwise they might not know it is ok to eat from there. Ours just stared at the feeder finish the portions and walked away on our first day of use.
    – if you unplug it, remember to redo all the settings so your dog doesn’t miss a meal

Overall, this saved us a lot of time and our doggy definitely loves to eat on time.

It’s best to spin the bowl around because the food in the back near the dispenser output can be difficult for cats to reach. Reliably dispenses food and is simple to program. The audio message plays loud for cats to hear and they enjoy the sound of the food hitting the bottom of the bowl. Portion sizing can be judged by measuring how much comes out in each increment and comparing it to what a manual portion would measure out to be. The food reservoir does not seal and is not air tight so we do not fill it up all the way.

I have a 7lbs sphynx cat, and anyone who is a fellow naked cat parent knows they are RAVENOUS. She would eat an entire BAG of cat food if she had access to it. I’ve been using auto feeders for a while, but had only been using feeders that have rotating dishes where you manually fill each dish with a measured amount of food.

This feeder will not hold the contents of a full bag, but certainly cuts down on the maintenance of having to check a smaller feeder so frequently. It works well and is easy to operate. You do have to set the machine to feed a set number of “portions” per feeding, and my cat normally gets a little less than 1/4 cup at each meal, which, more or less amounts to FIVE portion sizes when measured out. I would recommend comparing the amount dispensed per portion size when programming how many portions the feeder will drop for your pet per feeding, to make sure they are getting enough at each mealtime.
