Our pup (60lb 1yo lab mix) absolutely loves this thing. When he catches it he has a habit of trying to run off with it and this has withstand his attempted dragging. He also has a habit of grabbing right above the attached toy, chewing on the line itself. This has also stayed strong against him.
The wrist strap broke IMMEDIATELY the very first time i used it but i didnt really plan to use it that much anyway. It also came with a 2nd attachment rope toy, would definitely be willing to buy again!

I have purchased *3*b of these now because my doodle loves them but unfortunately her grip and pull is too much for this toy to stay intact. I really hope the makers of this product will see this and change the toy to be stronger when being pulled. It is a great toy to tire out my pup, but once she gets a hold of it, it’s very hard to get it out of her grip.
Update: after using it a bit more, it’s ok. I will try to shorten the length of the string because it’s quite long with the pole extended out. My 8 month old golden doodle loves playing tug of war with this. It seems to be well made. It’s standing up to tough tugging. It came with two rope toys and honestly the first one is holding up well. I’m raising my review from 3⭐ to 4.
It’s bulky and not fun to play with (human opinion). The stick is too long and heavy. I’ll go back to what we did before. Whip and toy tied to that. In my dogs opinion, they love this toy! But since the human doesn’t, it won’t be used.

This was so much fun, this thing survived so long. The string recently snapped, but that’s nothing and can be repaired. Highly recommend to any dog or cat lover.

Fun, easy to put together and then store after. My foster dog is scared when it is raised so we play with as a run and drag toy. I think it would be great with a puppy as well. Versatile toy

My puppy loves this. It’s strong. Very strong. You can sit on the couch watching TV if you want while dangling it and wear them out. Love it. It’s so useful for your puppy if you can’t go outside right then. You could use it outside as well

My first 2 broke after daily use for months. The 3rd one broke after a couple of days. I have a German shepherd. This next order will be my 4th in 7 months. But it’s her very favorite toy!

My dog loved this toy and had so much fun with it but he broke it within 24 hours of having it. He’s a 10 month old german shepherd so he’s very strong. I’d say this toy is actually very sturdy and would be great for a smaller dog or a puppy. If you have a bigger dog that’s very strong I probably wouldn’t recommend. It’s a very good toy tho I’m sure your pup will absolutely love it if he isn’t as strong as a dang moose

My cocker spaniel is chasing the rope like crazy. Is his preferred toy and Is a great way to exercise him. After few runs he sleeps like a baby. I wish it was a little bit longer.
