I have tried so many different tick and flea products and the top brand is way too high priced. Save yourself some money and buy this. Product it works as good as the other top brands 100%. Be sure to get the right lbs if your digs and if you live in hot weather areas you may have to apply more than once a month but the top brand are also that way. I recommend this product highly. 5 stars

  2. Buck & Zinkos

Applied on schedule, once a month. Seem to work fine over winter months when fleas were minimal, however, starting in June, the medicine didnt seam to work at all. Even days after application, fleas were driving our dog crazy. Going back to frontline which always worked.

    Do not recommend.

Purchased this for our local rescue. As our non-profit is small and receives limited donations, this was a perfect product to buy that served the purpose. It works as well has high-priced brands and takes care of pesky ticks and fleas. We will continue to buy on as-needed basis

The very first time I used Frontline, there were no fleas at all after a few hours. But not this time.

It doesn’t seem to work past Day Three. Maybe I have way too many fleas this year because of the stupid cats.
Same proportion of ingredients as Frontline. Same smell. I’m blaming the stupid cats.

I have some Sevin dust ordered. That will take care of the fleas.

Anyway. Amazon wouldn’t be selling junk with their brand name. So…. back to stupid cats.

I ordered for my 16 yr.old American Eskimo from Amazon.Recieved April 4 and applied April 5 .He still had fleas a week later
Applied second dose may 5.Again he was covered in fleas and had chewed all of the hair off his legs .Amazon return window closed may 3.Funny it was 1 month on a monthly product,.I contacted the manufacturer number on the package.Since Amazon won’t return, they’re refunding it through a grievance with Amazon. In the meantime,I had to order more Frontline while waiting for my refund.

Best value for your money. Haven’t seen any fleas since we started using it on the pups. No strong smells or stains of the dogs coat

This product is worse than subpar!!! I have been using said product for more than 2 months & it has yet to do as promised by product manufacturers. Has yet to repel or kill any fleas. Do not buy.

Here’s the gist: My dog became immobile and was put through hellish pain. Yes, this is a normal poison we use on pets for fleas/ticks. Pay attention to your pet immediately after applying this garbage. Wash them immediately if something seems off. Do not ignore them.

Long story: My 26lb,10 yo corgi got a bath, 2 days later, I put this Amazon Basics (23-44lb) liquid between his shoulder blades, squeezing out the liquid exactly where the directions stated. We’ve used Frontline for years, this is not a new concept. Was applied at night so he’d be all nice and dry before morning when he gets love and pets. The next morning, he started yelping in pain when we went down the steps, like he’d hurt his leg. This limping, then lethargy, and yelping grew, and I didn’t know what happened. Acorn shell in the paw pad? Secretly tripped and got new hip pain he’s never had before (but corgis are definitely prone to with age)? Three days pass, he’s progressively worse. Morning of day 3, he can no longer stand up, can no longer walk. I can’t pick him up because he yelps in pain. He lays there with bloodshot eyes, panting nonstop in my 74F house. His sides, his back, legs and paws are in pain. He would still eat, but he couldn’t get up off of the floor, so I fed him from my hand. I’d already called the vet the night before, but they were closed. I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out what’s different. Me, the idiot, didn’t remember that this Amazon Basics liquid is NOT the same the Frontline he’d used for almost a decade. The vet calls back, I tell her I think I know what it is, and that another negative reviewer said they gave their dog a bath 30 min after application and it improved. She says to give him a bath immediately and see if it does anything. It had been 3 days on my dog, I had little hope. I gave him 2 long baths in Dawn dish soap, and about 6 hours later, he started standing again. 8 hours later, he was slowly walking again.

No idea if this is a quality control problem, was this mis-dosed for a bigger dog? The active ingredient in this is the same as Frontline. I don’t even know if this kills fleas or ticks. He was so lethargic he couldn’t life his leg to scratch anything if his life depended on it.

A week later, he was about back to normal. I will not be using this again, or giving it away. This is trash and a waste of money. Maybe you’ll have better luck, but keep in mind the reviewers who put their pet’s lives at risk to save money. Don’t do it.
