This set of grooming tools are very handy! I’ve had them for about a year. My small shih poo loves when I groom him with these tools. Previously, I was using a two sided brush which had the detangle prongs on one side and the brush on the other. I also had a mat brush for detangling. He hated both of those! However, now he loves being groomed when I use the tools in this set. The 7.25 inch metal comb is a real winner because it has smooth teeth that are nicely spaced so that I can easily detangle his fur without discomfort. He sits still and and lets me comb out the knots on his sensitive ears and his fluffy tail- both of those areas mat easily but now he allows me to comb thru them without complaint! Also the small 3 inch metal comb with the teeth that looks like its for fleas is actually perfect for smoothly combing thru the eye goop area as well as with grooming his snout and whiskers area! He doesn’t complain! Thankfully I haven’t had to use the tick remover tools. This set was a game changer for grooming my little buddy.

This item is great for at home groomer starter kit to remove matts, debris and bugs from your pet like the professionals. Cant wait to get started using them on my senior fur baby.

Bought this for the flea combs, but the surprise is that my long-haired cat LOVES the 8” metal comb!!! He actually jumps up in my lap so that he can get combed. He is tangle-free now. I wish the rescue place had issued one of these metal combs with him the day I adopted him. Magically untangles his long hair. And he loves the attention.
‘Tis the season for fleas and other bugs. Essential tools in this set for home pet care. Bright colored handles are nice. I keep these by my favorite chair.
I have a couple of these combs dedicated to our dog. The rest get used on our cat.

You get a lot of items for the price as I have seen just the stainless steel comb coat more than this package. I wish it would have come with a sheet as to what each item is for and how to use but I can google them.
How products work –
I usually have used the Hartz flea comb which is sturdy BUT the teeth are too far apart and fleas slip thru it doesnt grab them
i LOVE this flea comb set the variety is great and the main long handle comb is very nice with fine close teeth EASIER to get fleas with as the other brand doesnt grab them and they slip thru this is WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR also like the longer teeth..
just went thru a horrfic flea outbreak and have completely fotten rid of them with steam cleaning, vacuuming, and carpet washing, as well as flea comb 3x daily, coconut oil WORKS on their skin immediately i have tried everything spent a fortune on chemical sprays for inside the house etc but what worked was the combination of steam, vacuum, flea comb and coconut oil.. try these things and ur pets will be flea free without meds, i gave them flea tx and that did nit work, the fleas have to bite them first.
TRUST ME, also, in Fl i dont let my small dogs outside in the summer heat with bugs mosquitos snakes fleas from all the squirrel etc we are on a lake and alot of animals enjoy it too, alligators, u name it, wven thi they have a fenced area we have predatory hawks etx that will literally swoop up a small dog, my dogs have a 4000 sf house to run in and lots of enclosed outdoor spaces where they enjoy sitting in the heat of the early morning sun.
Dont forget to feed your pets somw raw organic geound pumpkin seeds, i mix it with chciken breast canned pumpkin, very small amt of crushed garlic, celery, parsley, and mixed baby greens, they get this a little in am and iams dry, and canned food during the day and pm feeding
I bought worming pills as one of my small babies had a tapeworm from the flea infest within 2 days of giving them the mixture it came out along with the head, i still dosed him with the bayer quad wormer but nothing else came out so the oumpkins seed mixture is what got rid of it.
I use the “fuller brush spiffy maid vacuum” it has the strongest suction i have found better than my eureka and it is soooo easy to use that i can get under furniture and do that at least once daily right now.
Steam cleaning REALLY helps to kill eggs, and larvae, i bought the pure steam cleaner with canister it is super lightweight and als can get under furniture, i also bought the bissel power fresh steam mop, between all of these things they are now gone, but i will continue this freq thruput the summer months.
Also made a copycat mixture similar to angry orange to spray around the house.
Hope this helps someone to save $ on expensive chemicals if you want to elimibate fleas, put coconut on ur pet it is good for their skin and the lauric acid kills fleas, when the dog licks themselvws it also gives them a wonderful smelling breath .
