    This set is so handy, when babies need feeding. It covers the incredibly small, opossums, to larger animals, such as puppies and kittens.

    My kitten aspirated several times with his formula because the nipples are precut and too large. After showing them to my vet, he recommended against pre-cut nipples in general. BUT these were perfect for weaning with a thicker gruel* mixture attached to a syringe.
    *kitten formula blended with a pâte wet food.

    Reasonable substitutes for the more pricey “miraculous” kind, and as effective with very young kittens. I had older kittens (4-5 weeks) on which to test them, and the nipple used didn’t survive long, but that is not uncommon. I used the stub on the syringe to cushion it. The bottle is an effective shape. The syringes move smoothly. They are labeled as single use, but anyone who is in rescue knows how cost ineffective that is. The syringes handwashed just fine to be used again for the same group of kittens. Better value than the name brand. A syringe also worked really well to remove an air bubble in the fuel line of our tractor – not the purpose for which most people would buy this set, but very effective.
