I have a dog that enjoys chewing on rubber flooring. This yucky tasting stuff does the trick and he leaves it alone. My only tip would be to wash your hands after spraying it. Accidentally got a little taste and it was pretty terrible

I feel like the initial use of it works pretty well but after a few hours my puppy is going back at it biting the area I sprayed. So I guess it works like 70% of the time 🤷♀️

I would not recommend this product at all. It’s an aerosol spray, the particles stay in the air for some time and is easy to taste and inhale it even when you’re spraying away from you. I used it on my couch and any time I sat on the couch I would get a bitter taste in my mouth. And it did nothing to deter my dog from biting the furniture — he actually wanted to bight it more and started tearing the couch where I sprayed it. It doesn’t work.

Our puppy thought everything was fai game to chew. But no more. This stopped his chewing immediately.

This product got on my finger the first time. Couldn’t seem to wash it off for quite awhile and it found it’s putrid way to my mouth. Next time I wore gloves. Let the pillow I sprayed dry for 24 hours outside. Dog chewed it. Didn’t deter him at all. However just being on the couch it left residue which again found it’s way to my clothes and then my mouth. The third time something similar happened with a throw rug. Dog chewed it, I had to wash it before I could touch it. I wrapped a plastic baggie around my hand and threw the product in the dumpster. The dog followed me and whined. I threw away his new treat. Yucky indeed. I should have remembered dogs eat cat poo. I might (almost) prefer cat poo to that stuff myself.

Man this stuff is nasty. I have a house full of plants but only one that one of my 3 cats just won’t leave alone. I somehow got this on my mouth while spraying the leaves and holy smokes it tastes awful. I was scrubbing my face and hands with dish soap to get rid of it. Next day, the leaves had been chewed again, so I sprayed some more and who knows how, but I got another taste of it. The plant has not been affected in any way, so that’s good, but it has been no deterrent to my cat. A few weeks later, while watering, I trimmed away the damaged parts of the leaves and yup, you guessed it, somehow got this stuff in my mouth. You might have better results depending on your animal. It might work for you. Worth trying.

My English Bulldog is licking it off of her feet after it was just sprayed on them. She is on Rx eye drops & I was hoping this would prevent her from trying to rub her eyes. All it did was make my dog have to taste a disgustingly bitter taste which she had zero issues in doing so/cleaning it right off of her feet. I feel bad for making her taste this nasty stuff that does not work. The reason I give 2 stars is only because I’m unaware of it works for furniture with a tiny dog. If you have a larger dog like myself-save your $, stuff is useless.

This product works REALLY well on humans.. My puppy tasted it directly and eventually decided that it was not for him. BUT!… if you don’t wear gloves you will regret it. I used the spray on an item that I did not want him chewing on and I thought I did not get any on my skin.. I was WRONG!… best practice would be to use surgical gloves… and possibly a face shield with your head turned to the side.. The bittering agent soaks into your skin and contaminates everything that you touch. Enjoy!.. (edit) ** for the manufacture.. this item would be better sold as a gel.. spraying this stuff gets it on everything. IF it was a gel you could apply it in a more controled manor.
