Great whistle, but it is a big old honking thing. I like it when pheasant hunting because I can really project the whistle and make it LOUD. it is big enough to inside my vest, but I know it is there and it does get a little annoying. Small price to pay for a solid piece of equipment.

Good solid with some Madewell. Just didn’t always work for my dog. May just be that he is more stubborn.

This is the best retriever training whistle you can get. It’s loud and direct. Why complement this whistle with a spaniel style for closer in work, but this is loud for those lawn retrieves.
Trevor Stow –
I have used this brand of whistle before and found them excellent. This one does not work properly and I am returning it.

We have acreage and were having a hard time whistling loud enough for the dog to hear us. Three quick whistles from this and she comes running every time!
Elsie Silva –
Great whistle for training
Lia –
The whistle did not work at all, my dog totally ignored it and disregarded the whistling

I had tried all kinds of things to get the dog to stop having an all night barking contest with the equally stupid dog down the street. Nothing worked. So I tried this. I just blew it as loud as I could from inside my own house and could immediately tell the dog didn’t like it one bit. At first, he’d bark more to complain about the whistle but I’d just keep blowing it repeatedly until he stopped. In less than a week, he got the message. He can bark all day long but once it gets dark, he knows to stay quiet. I give him a reminder if he forgets and go to the kitchen and bang pots and pans together if he argues about it. He hates that even more.

Whistle makes a clear and constant sound. Bell projects sound over a wide area. Definitely gets my Dog’s attention and he comes running when he hears it. Orange mouthpiece for visibility.

Worked okay

Great product

I use this to call back my dog in the mountains. I run him off leash and he has been known to chase rabbits and can venture far away. He can hear this whistle from what seems like 500yds away. Works very well and directs sound to a 90 degree direction instead of 180 degrees.
Les E Dickey –
Whistle is not very loud, certainly not loud enough to get my dog’s attention.
