Very durable. Puppy can’t sleep without it but more of a ticking than a heartbeat sound.

Not for chewers or older puppies. Bought it for comfort when we adopted a 6month old rescue. My 6 month old puppy was hunting the heartbeat like it was a critter so I removed after 1 minute otherwise she would’ve chewed up the plastic thru the stuffy. This would be best for little pups who are weaning. It was a friend for her a few days but then she easily chewed its ears off and was obsessed with getting the velcro open. She eventually did and turned it inside out. Now its an earless stuffy with chewed velcro belly. It was super soft though!

Our puppy loves stuffed toys and these are perfect for her. She carries them around and uses them as pillows during nap time. Our dog isn’t a heavy chewer so I can’t attest to how durable they are for those canines that love to rip toys apart.

My elderly dog (12.5) had a stroke 4 weeks ago, and while he has made an almost full recovery physically (full mobility, no vision loss) and is doing well with medications he seems to get anxious when there’s noises outside, or we’re getting ready in the mornings, or we’re wrapping things up at night.
While I was searching for ideas the idea of these type of toys came up, and since he has always liked stuffed animals, and has a few Pound Puppies he snuggles with I thought this was a great option.
I put it in my shirt for a few days, on and off, and would then let it rest inside one of my go to sweatshirts. I’d let him smell it, check it out and he simply wanted to have it in his bed but I started to introduce it to him when he was starting to get anxious, turn on the heart beat. He immediately settles down, and lays on top of it.
Worth every penny.
Things I’d keep in mind- my dog is older, at 12, he has toys he snuggles with as well as ones he plays/shreds. This was very similar to his snuggle ones.
The heart beat takes AAA batteries, and while there is a button to turn it on, you do need to remove the heart, pop a battery out and back in to turn it off.
The heart beat sound is …. odd but I’ll deal with it becase it settles my dog.

The toy seems to have too strong vibrations and almost scare our dog away.
We keep the vibration off. and let him play.

It’s cute and my puppy loved it. She loved it so much she got the heartbeat out (thank god we didn’t leave her alone when it was inside). She has completely destroyed it by now, lasted about a month with her.

I foster puppies and some pups have a hard time with crate training and being away from us. This item was so helpful in calming our foster pups down and making them comfortable in the crate. This pup also doubled as a playmate for one of our foster pups and we could hear him growling at it and throwing it around. It’s a great product and works well!

the product is very
soft and adorable . But the heartbeat portion is made really really cheap , even the second one hand to be jiggle around quite a bit to get it goi g each time we need to use it and to open it , you feel like it will be break . It is made with cheap plastic where it opens and where the battery springs line up seems to be the issue . I think if they spent a little more there they would have a great product . when I exchanged mine I never even opened the dog just the heart part . It was a waste of some dog. The heart plastic part is the issue , it was made cheap. it’s the opening of the clasp and how the batteries line up with the connection. points .
