This toy has its flaws, but it’s perfect for my dog! We love “blue bone” around here!
It gets kind of gross after a few months of shoving small treats into its holes, but I am in the habit of just replacing it regularly. My small 2 year old chihuahua mix loves trying to get treats out of this toy and often just nibbles at it to taste the treats he inadvertently shoved deeper inside the bone. He has a small mouth and teeth, so it takes him a while to destroy it… it does eventually tear at the openings over time.
The openings are small, so you’ll need small treats for these. I’ve found that this toy works great with small soft training treats like Zuke’s or Bixbi, as my dog can lick them out slowly instead of trying to remove hard treats. My dog is a “strong” chewer, but not a “power” chewer.. I doubt this would hold up to a larger dog with a stronger jaw, but it’s perfect for a small dog and puppies.
When the openings start to tear I just order another. I don’t expect these to last forever.
Again, it gets gross after enough treat residue is shoved so deep into it that my dog can’t get it out, but whatever. It’s the perfect little treat toy when I want to reward him and keep him occupied for about 10 minutes at the same time.
“Blue bone” forever!

The toy was cute but didn’t last long with 2 bulldogs, one of which is a 6 month old. They tore it apart, splint the two rings in half, might be great for a dog that is a chewer.

Our black lap puppy loves the rings,. just the right size with different textures. His favorite is the center woven ring, which is getting a little frayed after one week. I use scissors to cut some of the pulled strings so they do not catch and floss his teeth, I’m sure it will last quite a long time.

My chihuahua’s favourite toy! This is my second purchase of this ball. I bought the first one for my chihuahua almost 2 1/2 years ago when he was just 6 months old. At the time, nothing seemed to keep him busy and I was buying several toys per week. He played with it every day until the end split and a piece fell off. I was afraid he’d eat it so I took it away. (Last November. He was upset and I knew he was looking for “squishy ball”. He knows all his toys by name and will retrieve the correct one when asked.). I purchased the first “squishy ball” at HomeSense and I looked at every store around for a replacement, but they didn’t have any. Although a new “squishy ball” was over twice the price on Amazon, I knew it would be worth it as it’s Willie’s favourite toy. I put dried liver treats (Dollarama) in the end and he plays with it for hours and hours every day. If the second one lasts as long as the first, I’ll be happy to pay the price for another “squishy ball”. I definitely recommend this toy. (The new one has a little different texture than the old one. The new one is a little rubbery/sticky texture and the old one was more smooth.)

I have a compulsive toy chewer but my dog is small and likes plush toys so It wasn’t to her liking. I would recommend for larger dogs because it is heavy, solid and definitely hard to destroy. You might want to supervise them because I can see one of the rings getting caught on the lower jaw of a really big dog.

I’ve purchased a few different teething chew toys for my corgi puppy who loves to chew on things. This is the only chew toy that seems to keep his attention, other than if I give him a bully stick. The toy also seems durable and will likely continue to come in handy throughout the teething stage. Would recommend giving this toy a try if you have a teething puppy or chewer! *** update: my puppy has been able to chew the tip of the nose off, but the rest of the toy seems durable. ***

This chew toy lasted beyond 1 year with a heavy 60-lb chewer. Wow. We had to retire it only because the glue on the seam finally gave way (after a year of heavy chewing). Never broke into pieces – amazing! Bought two more for replacements. Still a favorite toy.

My dog loves to rip toys apart and I have bought 4 of these two this year and two last year all four are still in great shape I constantly pick him up 25 pounds just by lifting the toy he loves to spin around and hang off it vary durable still rubbery and soft after being out in winter and summer weather

This super cute hedgehog chew toy not only has the most beautiful color combo but it’s perfect for puppies as it’s soft enough for them to chew on. Our frenchie is 9 weeks old and he loves it!

I absolutely love this toy. I used it on a previous dog who was full grown and very strong. I bought a new one for my 6 month old boxer puppy. I give it to him to chew on instead of me. It’s also great for playing tug of war or for throwing for him to retrieve. I’ll probably buy a couple more as backups. The two hard rubber rings are slightly different sizes and textures and then there’s the rope ring in the middle so there are three different rings in one. It’s extremely sturdy. The rope part was starting to show some wear and tear but that was after a month of aggressive chewing from the big dog. It’s been the favorite toy of two dogs so far.
