    Been using it for years but the local farm& home stopped carrying it, too bad it was cheaper there. I spray the dogs and my own pants legs with it to go for walks in the woods, does a good job of keeping ticks off us. Not as effective on fleas though.

    I use this spray to supplement the generic Advantage drops which don’t appear to be too effective (they are the Amazon generic version). I have been checking my dogs daily lately and sure enough on my big Standard Poodle I usually find a few that I can only pick off by spraying them first. The spray disables the fleas so I can pull them off the skin and dispose of them. No more jumping fleas or trying to chase them down!
    Update- I have recently applied Vectra 3D for dogs to my pets and it has really worked. I surmise that the flea population in my area has developed an immunity to the Advantage product.

    Excellent product and the smell is pleasant. Can be used on your dog’s bedding and safe enough to use directly on your dogs. The best part is that it’s water based so it won’t stain furniture or carpets.

    We live in a high wooded area with lots of fleas
    I use this as a prevention and it works great.
    Spray before going out side and keeps the fleas off my dog so we don’t end up with them in the house.
    We use along with topical treatments every 3 months and it does the job.
    I only recommend you spray outside as it has a VERY strong citronella scent that can be off putting to those sensitive to strong scents or those that dislike citronella.

    Product worked great, I personally would not spray on my pets but for the outdoor areas where they hang out problem solved. I have tried tons of other things but this one nailed it.
