    It’s ok for what it is. I thought an animal brush should collect hair as you brush. This doesn’t. It’s pretty stiff and my dog doesn’t like the feel as it pokes through his short hair.

    The brush metal teeth are sharp, and I won’t use on my 4 lb. and 7lb. poodles. nor my Australian Shepherd.

    I purchased this for my cat whom was starting to look like an alley cat. He absolutely loved this, it worked great!! A little difficult to get ALL of the hair out but since my cat has such a long coat I just wait until the brush is full and the hair just comes out altogether. It’s definitely durable, trust me, my cat has crazy long hair with some matting and this held up great.
