We are fostering two week old puppies and they are pretty sloppy eaters to begin with! lol! We started out with regular baby bottles that the rescue provided and then I bought a couple silicone baby bottles I thought might work better but didn’t. The girl that we have seems to be able to adapt to the regular baby bottle ok, but the boy was just really having a hard time staying latched on so I decided to give these a try. And finally! We found something that he would use without spitting it out all the time. I think the angled bottle and the three different nipple sizes are the key to getting the “fit” just right. He ate more in this feeding than he had previously. So, I’m going to go ahead and buy another one in hopes the girl likes it even more and she starts eating more at feeding time too!!

Warning – Please DO NOT use these nipples with puppies who are chewing. My puppy is 5 weeks old and within the alloted timeframe for bottle feeding. I followed the instructions to the tee. One minute into feeding – I pull the bottle out and see that the tip of the nipple is completely gone. He swallowed it! A puppy should NOT be able to do this so quickly. This product is DEFECTIVE!

Nous avons récupéré une chatte qui était enceinte et très amaigri abandonné. Ds La Rue. Nous avons décidé de nous en occuper de l’accueillir dans notre famille. On s’est vite aperçu qu’elle était enceinte de chatons. Elle a essayé d’accoucher elle n’a pas pu donc nous avons choisi avec ma femme de faire une césarienne afin de sauver tout le monde. Pour nous la vie est sacré et même un petit chaton a le droit de vivre. Nous en avons eu deux. Le premier est malheureusement mort avant l’arrivée de ce biberon et du matériel que j’ai commandé pour les nourrir car les deux petits était prématuré. Le premier est décédé car il ne pouvait pas déglutir. Il lui aurait fallu une sonde. Ce n’était pas le cas je n’avais pas le matériel. Par contre le second est toujours vivant. Il boit danse actuellement toutes les quatre heures. Et je dois dire que ce biberon est un véritable bonheur car il a vraiment été conçu par des gens qui ont réfléchi au bien-être du chaton. Déjà le trou. Le trou de la tétine est suffisamment petit. Le petit ne peux pas faire de fausse route. Je suis très satisfait de ce biberon. J’invite tous les éleveurs qui ont des chatons apprendre ce biberon parce qu’il est vraiment ergonomique es très utile.

Mon chaton n’a jamais voulu boire avec ce biberon – les tétines ne sont pas du tout adaptées. Très déçue de mon achat.

I love everything about this bottle, but it would have been better if the bottom nipple wasn’t missing part of the tip! I was pouring the puppy milk into the bottle, and it was just pouring out the bottom… when I took the nipple out to investigate, that’s what I saw ( in pics) Wasted 1/2 cup of milk and that crap ain’t cheap! I put in a request for an exchange, and all I could do is get a refund, which does not help feed my pups at all. So now I have to return it, wait for the refund, and reorder another one… Thank god they gave me enough time, I can use the bottle to feed this litter and return it, and get a new one for the next litter. But still… all that crap, because somebody in the factory decided this particular bottle was in perfect order. Maybe it was a Monday, or a Friday or someone that just got fired… regardless, my pups shouldn’t be the ones that pay the price. For the amount of money they want for just one bottle, this should never have happened. Also I didn’t receive the syringe that was suppose to be in the box… but that wasn’t as much of an issue as the bottle was.

I found a very young kitten Saturday. Immediately ran to Petsense and Walmart looking for a baby bottle for pets. Couldn’t find one. Finally found one at Tractor Supply. In the past I’ve had to use one of those bottles – the basic ones with the extra hard nipple that some “genius” thought it would be good to make the BUYER place the hole in the nipple with a hot needle – which has NEVER worked for me in the past. The hole is always too small, black soot is always on the nipple from the hot needle, and the nipple is just too hard for a small baby animal. So…..I came to Amazon and found this miracle. Seriously. The nipples are ready to go, and ultra soft! My little kitten latched on within 2 seconds and drank 8 ml on the first try! I will use the bottle later, but for now the nipple and syringe are PERFECT. I recommend 200%!!
UPDATE: The bottle worked great as she started drinking more formula than the syringe held!

Our dachshund stopped making milk a week after she delivered and the little bottles from Walmart are terrible so the pup never would latch properly. I honestly think we would have lost her pup if we hadn’t found these nipples. He latched on right away and they made feeding a breeze!

Yes it is quite spendy, but if you’re wondering if it’s worth the $, it is. It’s tilted and ergonomic for feeding kittens. My kitten likes making biscuits on the wide, squishy nipple, like he would from mom, who unfortunately rejected him due to him being premature. I was using a different titled bottle, and it worked fine, but it was really hard to fill and really hard to clean. This wide bottle is very easy to clean and fill! I’m still not sure how the bottom vent is supposed to work, but it works fine with it on. It’s just a rubber plug. I thought it was a one way valve, like anti colic bottles for human babies. If it was, I’d give this product 5 stars across the board. It’s the one feature I really wish kitten bottles had.
It’s a little big for the tiniest of kittens. I’m not sure how well it would work for them, because freshly born kittens need a mini size nipple. This nipple is longer than that. I looked over some of the other options, and it appears they make a standard size one too, but I don’t know. I haven’t tried them. It is EXTREMELY soft. The texture is truly ideal for a newborn kitten. I’d get a smaller size though. I think ideally, they’d be stiffer for kittens with teeth, but so far so good.
I’m not sure how well it’ll hold up to my “toddler” kitten. He is a preemie and has feeding delays. He still only drinks his bottles and has no interest in food. Since he is older and has high calorie needs, he drinks A LOT. Usually with a standard kitten bottle, he drinks one and a half bottles. He cries while I get the second bottle ready. Now I don’t have to stop during his feeding and he’s much happier.
Cons: it is a bigger size than the standard bottle/nipple, so you can’t use most nipples meant for kittens. I’m a little confused on which replacement nipple would fit on this bottle because some of the pics make it look small like a standard size…
Also I was initially really upset because when I ordered the product, it said 2 day shipping. Once I placed my order, it changed to 2 MONTHS shipping. Obviously I needed it for a kitten that needs a bottle right away, and by the time it was going to get here, he would’ve been weaned. I was annoyed, but since I foster bottle babies often, I didn’t cancel my order. I was looking wistfully at this bottle so many times and one day, it was back at 2 day shipping, so I ordered another 2. The fact that this company doesn’t really have a proper team of customer service reps is a con.
For the cons listed above, I knocked of 1 star. This is not really a con, but I think this bottle was designed for puppies, and it shows
