I have a pregnant dog! She is due in 2 weeks. This has been so helpful and such a godsend in preparation! It honestly details everything you need to know about whelping puppies!!! I feel a bit more confident (and, also have my vet on hand, too, should I need them) but this honestly includes things I would not have thought of! And, I love the different colored collars to differentiate puppies, too. This has a chart for keeping track of the puppies, weights, etc. And, there are a lot of helpful notes written on thick cardboard paper so you can refer to that for help, too. This includes bottles with different-sized nipples, umbilical clippers, gloves, aspirator, and it’s such a godsend. Honestly, get yourself this kit if you breed, have an accidental litter, foster, etc. It’s like hitting a goldmine.

Listen, this whelping kit is gold. Perfect for those emergency rescue-momma-dog situations or regular ‘ol oops-our-dog’s-pregnant?!? situations. (I fell into the later category- don’t come at me, it happens.) I purchased this kit because I wanted to be prepared, and I felt this kit contained all the items I figured I’d need: the collars, the bulb syringe, medical scissors, umbilical clamps, gloves and the bottle feeding stuff- heaven forbid.
I didn’t realize until I was holding it in my hands the goldmine I’d stumbled across!! All those supplies were useful, and I did use them, but the charts, THE CHARTS! The wealth of information in the charts is what makes this whelping kit shine. I was able to navigate our oops-the-dog’s-pregnant?!? situation with much more confidence and direction with the knowledge I found on all the charts included in this kit.
Hands down 10/10 recommend! If you’ve got a pregnant rescue dog, or despite your best efforts your dog is pregnant, you’ll want to purchase this whelping kit. You can thank me later.

Getting this kit will definitely save you a lot of time and trouble trying to put together your own kit. This way, you’ll have nearly everything that you’d need! There are so many supplies included, and they all seem like they’re good quality – even the scissors are sturdy and strong. The collars can be adjusted to fit puppies over time, so they can keep the same color-coding as they grow, and you don’t have to make as many different purchases. The charts and guides included are such a big help, too. The guides give you a good idea of what to expect and what to watch out for. The charts give you a place to write down all the info that you’d otherwise probably just scribble down in a notebook, so you’re sure that you’re keeping track of everything in an organized way, and you aren’t forgetting anything. The downside is that the box was falling apart when I got it, so I’d love if there was a bag or sturdier box included to keep it all together!

Yay! The package looks great. I really appreciate that the feeding bottle came with multiple sizes of nossels. I am glad that I have the flexibility of the various sizes. The care sheets are really nice. They are printed on really durable paper and it is so nice that I won’t have to keep this info written in a random notebook. Everything was packaged neatly!

My neighbors two huskies had puppies within a day of each other. I saw this and thought, yes, this we need! Upon receiving it I noticed that the only useful items would be the collars and the pad to document weight, names, growth and stats like that. There are items such as one pair of latex gloves included which just seems to be a filler thinking you’re getting a lot for your money. I’m disappointed with this kit and would not recommend it to my friends.

Great all-around animal birthing kit. Luckily our foster cat mama birthed seamlessly while we were asleep so she needed no assistance, but it gave us peace of mind to have a few tools just in case. We’ll be using the charts and collars a lot with our foster babies.
