My dog love this mat! and I can see why. The material is super soft on the feet. It has a great paw print design and it is super easy to clean. I’ve had it 2 months so far and it still looks brand new! The color hasn’t faded and the durability is still in tact. We use it for the water bowl only to prevent the floor from getting wet from splashing. Amazing Product and the size is perfect for a small-medium dog.

This is a small and attractive feeding mat. It is not a mat to be used effectively if you have a sloppy canine drinker.
It doesn’t absorb water. The water puddles on it and then tracked all over the floor by said sloppy canine.
It is actually too small to be considered a drinking mat even if it did absorb.
So, it as been moved to the feeding area and my search continues for a truly absorbent non-slip mat for drinking water.

I have two dogs and they definitely like to spill water everywhere when they drink and are thirsty after a long walk. I got this to put on my wood floors as I was using towels under the bowl before. It obviously looks much better than a towel, and easier to clean as well. But I wished I had gone with the bigger size since it is not big enough to avoid water getting on the wood floor. A few inches bigger would have been much better. Not the fault of the manufacturer since they listed the size and I just didn’t pay enough attention. So I gave this 5 stars for the workmanship and material used as well as ease of cleaning.

We recently got a Schnoodle puppy (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) and needed a food mat to help keep the water off our tile from our sloppy drinker! This mat works great to absord any overspill when filling the water bowl too or when our pup is done drinking and letting the water drip all over the mat. It does absorb the water but it takes a minute or two, as expected. I know some folks were using this for a larger dog but I feel it’s more for a smaller pup that won’t be dropping a ton of water on the floor as they have super absorbent mats for those types of dogs (we have one for our retriever). I feel this is aimed more at cats and smaller dogs as it’s not a very thick mat, I’d probably look eslewhere if you’ve got a big slobbe dog that needs a thicker mat.
I’ve cleaned the mat off a few times and have yet to see any stains or marks on it and it does a good job of keeping the area clean and dry. I really like the non-slip bottom and I included a pic in my review so you can see the textured bottom. The good thing is that our pup isn’t able to move the mat around at all as the rubber backing keeps the mat in place. It’s very easy to clean and quick drying and has a surface made of a special material that resists pet hair and dust, a nice plus! I just wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it off with water and put it back on the floor, and the mat will quickly air dry. Our pup has tried to chew on it a few times but it is very durable and is tear-resistant, so she’s unable to damage it. It’s also soft and comfortable as our pup likes to stand on it while eating/drinking, 5 Stars!

We got this to use with our ice machine. I’ve had it sitting on the office credenza for convenience, but inevitably, there’s an amount of water that gets splashed around. My wife has her little doggie statuettes nearby to add a little pet friendly ambience, so when I saw the dog prints on this splash mat, I knew it would fit right in. Its a good size under the ice machine to provide a station for adding water and putting the machine through its monthly cleaning cycle. Water still gets everywhere, but at least now its not ruining the credenza. I’m sure it works great on the floor too where the pooch gets fed and watered. Its soft and water resistant which is perfect for what its intended for. I’m happy with this purchase.

And let me tell you, with Siddy Purrscott’s snow-white fur, the struggle is real! But this mat helps ease the burden. No more worrying about the extra effort of cleaning up clinging hair like with our previous mat.
Oh, and bonus points – the mat arrived rolled up, but it laid flat from the get-go. No wrestling with it to flatten it out, thank goodness!
